Phacon 2004 meeting report

It all happened in Prague / Czech Republic in one sunny
weekend. Ellvis (Yes, that's me) sitting in a small pub in
Dejvice - part of Prague. He waiting for some Czech
spektrumistov encountered in other pub to drink beer and talk
about the most important thing to light.
When Ellvis yet met them (and it is not easy,
when out of the subway several exits), it was a gang of 4
people: Zilog (author divIDE, cfIDE, dithvIDE and so on), Shrek
'& ampLogout (The authors of the provocative demos ATTrapa),
Velesoft (author of some of improvements for the Spectrum as
well as for the Speccy emulator Pentagon'a 128k) and Ellvis
(lamer). This bunch of strange people (well, always
spektrumista easy to learn on the street, because they usually
talk about strange things and they have them with you:) reached
pati Place - Pub "nad sarkou". Tram ride was fun - it
all been busy spektrumistami.
The pub was booked a table for 10 people. There are already
waiting and Tritolsoft. At first there was lunch, because
people should there. Soon, all unpacked all the iron and placed
on the table - have been Velesoft'a Speccy 128k, have Shrek'a -
Palm (c emulator Speccy), y Tritol'a and Zilog'a - cfIDE and
divIDE and some more iron. More a little later came + GAMA his
PSION (as Emulsion Speccy), and then DIZZY (which is from the
Czech Republic rather than from Moscow) and finally X-Agon.
Conversations were mostly about the hardware - Velesoft made
Softpedia emulator Pentagon'a and told me how it works
Zilog Trito talked to some of the changes in divIDE, X-Agon
talked about his attempts to do the procedure, which uses
both beeper and AY, and ellvis shrek and just sat there
cursed:)
In general, all nipilis beer, and when the pub closed, PhaCon
ended. It was a small party, but rather unusual, and
it's great. However, some have decided to continue (+ GAMA,
Velesoft and ellvis) and went to Logout'u - Velesoft showing
how it works emulator Pentagon'a (by the way, really works!), +
GAMA ZX Magazin finished and we watched Futurama, and 2 parts of
Pirates from Silicon Valley. Logout Ellvis and went to sleep,
but + GAMA and Velesoft worked through the night.
In the morning came again Zilog and all the people went to
barahloku. You there really can buy everything - from old
notebooks cheap HDD's (which can be useful for the Speccy)
before eating. People are selling there what they think for
themselves unnecessary.
From there, all the people went to a pizza lunch. Posted again,
all iron on the table and they were surprised - at the next
table sat Legend - FUXOFT! He heard the talk about Speccy and
slightly shocked that someone so far yuzaet this old car!
Here, this was the completion of all PhaCon 2004.
So it was a good party, makes our life more gray
