1. HOW IT ALL STARTED ...
For those who do not remember or never heard of
what is at stake, I will give brief information
about the project and its basic idea:

SPECCY development and general scene in the CIS. All
what is said here and in the first part - is intended only to
give impetus to this development ...

Everything started about a year ago, approximately in
February-March 1997. Driven by a desire to help the scene and
merge all of its residents, I wrote an article that described
"Save Our Speccy". Its general meaning is reduced
to the fact that if we want to preserve the scene
it is necessary to unite all the "writing"
people in a single association that would address global
distribyutsiey their work.
The text was a part of our synopsy
"OPERA ...", which began to distribute
at the turn of 1997 and 1998.
Paper is only a sketch, a total
idea and its main purpose was - to attract
attention to the scene to this problem. Which later was
achieved.
I was pleased and even a bit surprised
so that the ideas expressed therein, have been actively
supported by the "residents" of the scene. Has been received
many letters and reviews for the cooperation. In addition, FIDO
and ZX-networks intensified arguments on
this topic.
In parallel, there was an organization of association
Amazing Soft Making. Which is also planned as one of the ways
the project ...
Now (end of February 1998) I decided to collect and collate
the information received and to tell everyone about their views
on the development of the project. That is what all the
following text.

2. CURRENT SITUATION ON STAGE
Constantly there is a set of new and
strong teams who are willing to write a good soft in unlimited

The overall level of programs is growing steadily. This
applies not only to the trial stage, but to all the emerging
soft-ware. Or everything else? :-)
The main motivation is still the art for the sake of art and
excitement of competition. Or am I wrong again? :-)
Is a very positive association and
cooperation between different platforms. Replaced bylomu
confrontation comes confluence of different platforms. Groups
are not moving to more powerful machines, and work together on
them. Just look on what is now the scene SPECCY and AMMY is
almost of the same bands! I totally agree with vyskazanym on

these platforms are practically identical, and the challenges
