MindW0rk: What's your opinion on how passed
Festival this year? What changes
occurred compared with the previous CC?
Random: The festival this year was held on
order of magnitude better than any previous party.
The reasons for this positive result
should be sought in the organization of the festival - the team
attended a sufficient number of talented people with whom have
solved all the emerging problems.
MindW0rk: How much money worth it to spend all this matter?
Were there any sponsors? I hear you've put a lot of their
money. Comment, please.
Random: The total cost of the festival
this year amounted to about 5-6 thousand
dollars. Sponsors attended and helped us as they could. I want
to note such the firm as a "verifier" who provided
required number of computers and networking equipment, "In
Focus" which provided proektor at a very affordable price,
"Leningrad Palace of Youth", whose administration reacted
adequately to the our requirements, and many other groups,
without which the party would not take place on proper level.
Let me remind you that the whole financial basis of the
festival was covered by organizers. Many of us have contributed
funds in order to get it and dedicate yourself from this group,
I do not think correct.
MindW0rk: unlikely event of this level takes place without
incident. What troubles were in the process of organizing and
conducting CC04? As a whole behaved people?
Random: Naturally conduct has not done
without various sensitive situations. For example, the day
before, the firm which promised to provide a projector for our
Events denied to us for assistance. Literally a half hour the
organizers had to assemble the collateral value of the new
projector and the issue was resolved. Nevertheless, serious
problems were not all issues are addressed quickly enough.
Customers behaved very honorably. Otherwise they It was
impossible to behave:)

Random: One of the rules for visitors

MindW0rk: How do you rate the works exhibited at the party?
What things in particular remember?
Random: On the party was surprisingly a lot of
very worthy work. It was very nice
to see new teams, who rushed to the scene without any problems.

These people simply amazing work. Of the 8 bit command liked
work in the demo compo, especially Nature Rules
and Traumwerk.
MindW0rk: Tell me about the story of the square (made by
cordex)? This feature planned or impromptu? We are all his so-

Random: 512 byte intro for Spectrum made Konex of the Antares
group demonstrated in the grid corresponding to the

MindW0rk: Tell us a couple of funny / interesting things that
occurred in CC04 and witnesses who you were. The people can

was sitting in the front row and talked about solving some

Another curious aspect was the challenge I have security guards
at the door. After a brief conversation about the situation,

MindW0rk: Do you plan to CC'2005? Is there
any plans / ideas for it already
now?
Random: Plans to make the SS for next year
Of course there is. It all depends on the core team of
organizers, as will over time and finances. The idea of one -
to improve the quality organization and again raised the bar.
In this times the scale of the activities we did,
the following year party is likely to be
held there in the LDM. We believe that
reserve capacity is not fully consumed, the changes will affect
only the optimization of competitions and reception / display
work counting and rewarding. Want
