That's what happened!
You see (the fact) and are (hopefully) FIRST (in
this year), third (by number) and fourth (general) release of
Tula electronic journal VOYAGER.
First of all - we are nearly a year! Allow me to
congratulate you, dear readers with this momentous (for you)
and memorable (to us) event and wish to always remain with
Spectrum in general and us in particular.
What brought us proshedschy year? Besides the fact that
the Thule appeared Spectrum its electronic edition:) there are
many more interesting things. I want to note especially the
last International Festival of Computer Art
FunTop'98 in Moscow. We hope that you have read the detailed
report about this event in the previous issue magazine. It is a
pity that FunTop'99 not take place. But, looking ahead a bit, I
would like to invite all to the festival CONSTRUCTION CHAOS'99,
which will be held this summer in St. Petersburg. It promises
to be fun and impressive. Hope to see you there with You.
Speaking of festivals, it is impossible not to mention
ARTCOMP'98. Despite the fact that he carried on mail, no matter
what it took. Of course, papers were sent to a little, but
still it turned out this festival of computer art. This
confirms the well-shaped collection of works. Thanks for his
great all the organizers. By the way, ARTCOMP'99 already
declared, you can start prepare their work for the competition

Struck a fair amount of software copyright, which appeared
at the end of the year. First of all - it A LAST HERO OF LIGHT

RUSSIA by Mr.GLUC 'Co, KOLOBOK ZOOM II by ASPHYXIA'

what can I say, list can be long. And this year, we hope, will
be released long-awaited Black Raven 2. If Vyacheslav promised,
then so be it. ;) After Spectrum - is primarily a home, gaming
computer, famous for its democratic, availability and abundance
of software. We hope that the flow of the program does not run
dry, and our favorite Speccy proudly will step into the third
millennium! (During wrapped:)).
As for Tula, our hometown,
then we have witnessed some events. It is no secret
Spectrum that is already firmly entrenched in the network. This
applies not only to local ZXNet, and Fido. Many have already
run without problems on the network on real Spectrum with a
modem. Close to it, and Tula. Already Tula several successful
"momedyatsya" on their Spectrum (thanks Vova Kulibina!), Close
and exit in Fido, good software support is and is not bad. And
ZXNet going to do. Time will tell. Guessing we will not.
Now a little about us ... :) Dr.DASH successfully dealt
with the session and continues to improve shell magazine. In
addition, he manages to find time and writes different useful
tools (new version of one of them - TEXTUT - you will find in
Appendix). In addition, Dr.DASH tried a little to bring to mind
our editor proportional press, which, in fact, typeset VOYAGER.
Work was fun. A huge him for that Thanks. A.N.D.Y. completely
caught up in work (not over magazine), but quietly wrote a new
editor for Pascal. While he (the editor) can not much, but in
general - is impressive. Good luck to him! DUDE bought yourself
a second pros (in his words - to experiment) and continued
poking around a soldering iron, "that moves" ... ;) Connect to
Fido, so for those wishing to write to him personally - you are

collect the sound card, a scheme which they found on the CD
with the emulator. Little material about it - in the Appendix.

magazine. Do not remain aloof from Tula and other teams. Many

In conclusion, I want to thank all the readers who sent us
a letter (by mail, an Internet, Fido). Thanks for your support,
kind words, advice and criticism. Pleasure to work with,
knowing that your labor anyone needs. Especially now, not in
the best of times for the Spectrum ... so that there
Spectrum - the whole country. There is a growing circle of our
dating, growing geography of our (and your) magazine. We have
received feedback from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kurgan,
Cheboksary, Glazov, Nizhny Tagil, Donetsk, Grodno, Minsk,
Chelyabinsk, Tchaikovsky, Yaroslavl, Vilnius, Cherepovets,
Kazan ... and this is not a complete list of cities, reading
Voyager! For anyone not be a surprise if I tell you
that half (if not most) letters came from
people who did not buy the magazine and used the
his "kryaknuty" version. There were even letters with claims of
non-functional. Yes, this can not be! From "legal" readers who
purchased the magazine from us or our distributors, we have not
received no reproach, that "something is not working."
Regarding the same "crack" ... On the one hand this is good -
more readers, more interest, more reviews and materials we
receive. On the other ... nothing but trouble. I'm not saying
that "zhurnalostroenie" nothing but trouble and sleepless
nights we do not bring (the satisfaction of the work done, I
omitted). It's a shame that the journal is judged not by normal
and on kryaknuty (not always correct) version. We do not claim
to "Laura" Microsoft, but no matter how you look at the man who
wrote a letter to Bill Gates with claims about his "air vents",
purchased at the local push for fifty dollars? That's the same
...
Do not want to end this unpleasant
for us to note. And so - write, write and write! Read a
