The author of this development is Gulov Andrey (aka
Criminal / DKG).
3CS - is a full-screen color picture editor with the
ability to map each point to its color.
To start with I (Criminal) would
tell about the history of this
product.
The fact that I'm not the first who wrote the editor of
its kind - to me did DISABLER / OHG, but its editor
had a lot of shortcomings, such as step
arrow keys - 4 pixel ... always ...
Or here's another example, the movement on the screen is done
by icons but it is still half-troubles, as before
editable window go down to the end, you can hang ten times -
speed simply astounding, and the main drawback, though it is
rather a bug than lack of it is impossible to put the pixel in
the rightmost corner and underneath.
There are other flaws, at least
significant:
- Ability to edit only
two-thirds of the screen;
- During the editing is not clear
how it will look like in the real
sizes;

And now the most important thing - why
I decided on such a thing as writing your own editor?
It's very simple. More recently,
We, as always, the flimsy writing a new
demo and, of course, though, began to think, but
What is so out of place to draw graphics somehow. After
weighing all the pros and cons, decided to do the same to draw
graphics in a tricolor and of course, as our artist (L. Archy)
immediately rushed her to draw - first in
ART STUDIO, then MultiStudio. Jobs
was tight, all because of the Latency of the latter. Meanwhile,
I watched as the poor L. Archy muzdykaetsya with only one
picture (about 2 weeks).
At first it was funny, but then
I had an idea, a naive, such
why not write an editor that
would exceed in all respects the existing MultiStudio. All
members of the DKG entu endorsed the idea, and then it began
... Pair weeks, I was sitting at the computer and, as they say,
sat out.
Here it should be noted that I have a PC at this time was
not in the best condition (Always buggy when working with a
disk, and in general, behaved provocatively), and began
it's still where we were preparing for FT'98.

I think these opportunities
enough to interest any
GFX 'maker, so it makes no sense
continue to list all the pros 3CS.
Now for the not very pleasant, more
about the most unpleasant. Full version 3CS is a commercial
product (as opposed to from the beta version, which is fully
SHAREWARE 'Naya) and requires some investment. In general, I
want to get about 400-500 rubles (new) in order to maintain a
belief in the necessity of such products.
