When I look to a speccy demoscene in the end of \"Y2K-1\" I
must say I am happy, coz there are some very good demos
appearing on da scene.
So, there wasn┤t any huge party like Enlight97 or Funtop98,
but there are a few parties ,which proves ,that the demoscene
on speccy isn┤t dead, when the huge groupz like Megacode,
Progress, CodeBusters, etc. leaves to that \"shitty\" Amiga
scene.
If you saw some latest PC demos you will know that there are
not any of new ideas. Gouraud textured toruses, huge rooms with
correct perspektive and any other \"shit FX\". All with music -
fucking wave- table , not that beautifull concert of 3 canals of
AY!
So, I am very glad and I sending HUGE thanx to all people,
which making speccy scene alive. Keep it up !!!
So, there's going judge of demos presented in \"Y2K-1\" ..
I think they're better then in \"Y2K-2\" :-)

1...NAPALM /E.I. - the best, as always EI does
2...WORKSTOP/Hardwawe+Serzh - some cool FX from Serzh's 4k
intros, good MSX like in \"S4B\"
3...ANAMNESIS/R.Masters - quite good stuff, with very good idea
4...MUSCATE NUT/Syndrome - some unbelievable 3D FX with realy
good handdrawn pcs
5...JAM/DigitalReality - quite short, but nice MSX and PCS from
Diver/4D
6...DEVOTION/Antares - very beautifull demo, awesome code,
good idea
7...LAZARUS/Claw - superb Polish demo with good effects, go
8...7UP/SpeedWay - good MSX, too much movies, forever more
realtime FX
9...FREEART/Volga - some very good color effects
10..64bit3:L.D./Accept corp. - some good effects
11..DIVE/CRG - a little demo with speedy music, it's like
\"Speed\" drug
12..666/EXCESS - forever maybe better
13..DEMODYIN'/Beermans/Extreme - b&w, too pesimistic,
but music is very cool
14..MINDCONTROL/C.T. - good attempt for the beginning
15..CLONE/Zeroteam - too slow and short, what's this for ?
.so, there are not some demos like Exception and
others because we haven't them.
.so, if you look at the results, speccy scene have
some new faces, we wish them luck.
