Hello new art
newart: "No tutorial will help someone who doesn't know how to draw"
I would like to expand on this idea:
No tutorial will help anyone who doesn’t know how to code.
No tutorial will help anyone who doesn’t know how to write music.
No tutorial will help anyone who doesn’t know how to “substitute to taste”
The tutorial is needed precisely so that a person who does not know how can learn.

No problem! There are a lot of drawing tutorials! For example - Drawmanga.ru
If you have any questions, write and I will answer.
The principle is simple - the human figure (in this particular case) consists of them
a set of ovals and circles (head, belly, arms (2 ovals), legs (2 ovals).
First you draw them in the desired pose, and then you process them to the desired condition.
You may or may not respect the proportions - we draw cartoons!
If you’re too lazy to download tutorials, I can give you a whole bunch of them on disk! (This is everyone
concerns in St. Petersburg!).

The clickable ones are made of very high quality and even work with a mouse.
In addition, there are still developments on the disk, for example, calculation of the path taking into account the bypass
obstacles, our own version, not torn from anyone, tested in work.
There is a calculation of the viewing sector taking into account the two-level landscape, i.e. with game
can be seen further, cannot be seen through the mountain, the angle of view is limited (not all-round visibility)
There is a simple 3D render in which the game sprites were actually made (written by

The screen transfer was done with high quality, tested on a scorpion (both

The show-off is not even in the mouse, but in the combination of the mouse and traditional cursor control,
Mednonogov also wrote about this. The following technique is used: picture first
is drawn in the buffer and then transferred to the screen. So the cursor may already move away
and a rather difficult task arises of restoring the background under the cursor, which
has already changed. The most difficult thing was with the pressing buttons. If
control the cursor movement only with the mouse, then the graphics subsystem
the cursor is greatly simplified, no one will pay attention to its “blinking” - mouse
after all, but the buttons and joystick are still a crapshoot.

Um... When Dyalo first came out, this word had not yet been invented  And
it was developed as a roguelike. And its main gameplay consists of walking around

notorious funnels, until the ice melts on the water surface), in the engine (in the demo
seems to be there) there is a non-synchronization of animation of objects (let me explain: how many games were there
of that time, even on the PC, if there are several animated objects on the screen,
then they are all located at one point in time in the same animation phase, which leads
k... in general, not very nice). Plot: battles for the mineral Levium (I don’t remember
where did I read about it), a kind of new source of energy and all that. Here
no aircraft were provided.

Hello Surfin' Bird
Sur> Thank you for your feedback!
Sur> With colored sprites on spec it is an order of magnitude more difficult. And on the PC, IMHO,
Sur> it will be generally inconvenient to draw colored ones.

Sur> Uh... When Dyalo first came out, this word had not yet been invented
Sur> And it was developed as a roguelike. And the main gameplay

Sur> There is no plot there as a fact  If this is not a roguelike, then what is

Sur> And for each game there are no words in the English language to create its own genre

Action/RPG. Listen, Kiri, stop soaring me, I'm into so many RPGs
I replayed it and re-read so many reviews/docs, I can figure out why. I don't
If you believe, go to ag.ru for example. The plot in Diabla, our dear, is present.
Direct and uncomplicated, but clearly and irrevocably present. Is it possible to pass it?
Can. Are quests not given out of the blue? Not out of the blue. So no need here. But in
bagels - exactly, just mochilovo and rocking. Well, sometimes they’ll give you quests, but that’s
very advanced bagels, I know similar ADOM ones. But you still have to pass themYou can’t be told “Well Done, Hero, you have killed the BIG BOSS. You
are a super-duper dude and peace will be forever in this country. But the
evil will raise once again..". Did you explain it clearly?

Hello, Soplik
I'm reading the tutorial, maybe if I don't find an artist for the project on the Amiga, I will
remember my drawing basics myself and become an artist :)
Thank you!

Hello, acidrain
Yeah!!! manual!!! yeah, ProMotion!!! well, well... Well, that's great! "Manual
for a COMPLETE IDIOT" with an example of not only working with the program, but also with graphics,
as such... Just like in thin air. schools (only without scientific pomp and terms).
That's what you need.

For some reason he didn't like it. But you, as the author of the plugin, can fix it
situation. As far as I remember (from a conversation with Kirill), the very first reason,
the reason why your plugin didn’t suit him is that the plugin is designed for the wrong
version of BGE in which Kirill works.

Hello Surfin' Bird
There is a question, not entirely on topic - but no one would like to collaborate in creating
one project for the Amiga? Forgive me for speaking here, but on the Amiga of the Russians
There are no more artists - 8 have died out.
Just ProMotion on topic;)

This means he didn’t like the functionality. By the way, he really needs it. Talk to him
yourself, and ask what he needs and how he sees it. And then it's up to you.
