The graphics in NICRON-E
We offer you a conversion utility graphic
images from the internal format of "reading room" in the usual
format graphics Spectrum. Need for such transformation may
occur if you wish to extract from the newspaper any picture -
for printing on paper or use for personal purposes (recall that
the use of the material for other purposes allowed only with
the consent of the authors).
Of course, to draw your favorite picture from the newspaper
can be known barbaric way, enjoyed by all and sundry, when one
wants to "pull" the screen from the toy. But the reader
provides a much more civilized option.
To upload a graphic of the reading room block of the current
segment click "Graph". Written to the disk file with a "S". This
graphics format reading room. Run DECOD_SC. Enter the name of
the file shipped unit. If the total amount of image data
exceeds one screen, the disk will be written to multiple
display files of standard form. It sounded the word "segment".
Segment in the reader - it's a block of combined text and
graphics, which is loaded reader as a single unit in memory and
displays it. One newspaper may contain up to 8 segments. The
48-K machine is loaded in memory at a time one segment. 128-K
computer to determine the boundaries of segments can be some
"lags" for a second during the transition from one segment to
another. Pressing unloading (Extended Mode or Graph) on the
entire disc is written entirely text and all graphics from the
current segment and not only that can be seen on the screen.
Print on paper, both text and graphics can be directly
from the reading room with built-in print driver for the
interface ZX-Lprint-III. In this case, you are exempt from the
cares of the layout image on paper - print reader as you see on
the screen. The text, of course, are printed in a printer and
not a 3 * 6 64-character-mode screen. Graphic the image is
printed with some distortion of proportions that motivated by
the desire to combine text and image on the sheet; as seen on
the screen. If you wish to print only the pictures, but without
the geometric distortion of proportions, you just and help
program DECOD_SC!
Owners of "PROFI" and other computers, in which to display
data to the printer is not used ZX-Lprint-III, can use an
external print driver. In the next issue we will talk about
this, try to prepare his version of the driver under KR580VV55A
