How to Stop Worrying and CONNECT
Second disk drive to your computer
Today I will give some useful tips that
should help you when you connect the second drive
your SPECTRUMu.
1.For connect a second disk drive 3,5 "uses the same cable as
for a five inch floppy drive, only when you connect to swap the
wires 10 and 12. However, by default one of the drives will be
selected as the drive A, the second - as the drive B.
2.Esche would be better if you build a small device that allows
you to easily reassign drive A to B and vice versa. Here's his

3.For order not to overload the line of disk interface in one
of the drives if you have 2 five inch floppy disk or a five
inch, if you are 3,5 "and 5,25", remove the resistor assembly
is installed in the socket, such as integrated circuit.
4.Obychno when running one of the drives begin
rotate engines on both drives, which, of course, is
undesirable. This is easy to avoid if instead of the signal IAC
