haugh All.

Unlike us, Western “comrades” have long moved from words to action.

By the way, will it be possible to work with a USB modem on the Speccy through a similar port?
After all, for some reason external modems are not connected to the Speccy?

Why don’t they connect, I have an external USR 14400. Connected via the Profi COM
port.

In my opinion, there is only one reason. the COM port has not yet been fully implemented

See you, Ivan!

External ones are a little more expensive than internal ones. This is the only reason.

There are already two of them on the ISA multicard.

I’ll explain for those who don’t understand: the comport on the internal modem is indistinguishable from the comport
on the multi-card.

except that not a single multicard I’ve seen has a FIFO buffer, and
as a result of this, most programs written under ISA modems don't work -
you have to fix them manually inside... ;-(
