Welcome to ZXBN!
I’ll say right away that if you came to this page by accident and have no idea what ZX-Spectrum is, then you are unlikely to be interested in this material!
So, why was the ZX Spectrum Banner Network (hereinafter ZXBN) created? The purpose of ZXBN
is to unite sites dedicated in one way or another to the ZX - Spectrum platform.
ZXBN is not a commercial project and in it you will not find advertisements like buy
a stone, sell a mother :) All banners shown are participants in this project, and
the main goal of this system is that a person, once on one site, can see
all sites - participants in this project. How does ZXBN differ from a regular RING? because I am not satisfied with the rules of the ring, namely the poor text
mode, and it is not known where you will end up.... here it’s the other way around! Banners
change dynamically and you know exactly where you will end up! those. this can
be understood both from the banner itself and from the link that it indicates.
If you understand everything :), YOU have your own website dedicated to ZX-Spectrum and YOU
agree to take part in ZXBN, then you need to fulfill a number of conditions:
1e, what you need is your own banner with a standard size of 470x60. It
can be in either JPEG or GIF format. The only thing is just don't
overdo it with the size :) if it's enoughvoluminous and will take a long time to load, the chances that they will click on it are not great. And second, if you have never
created banners :) then I will be happy to help you.
Next, what YOU need is to place on your page (anywhere,
but of course not where no one will find it :) these lines:
Then, when you load your page, a banner of one of the participants or maybe yours will appear in this place. (You can experiment later by
updating the browser).
After you have made a banner and written the above lines, you
send it to me at zx...@narod.ru along with a small questionnaire:
1) URL of your page
2) Your nickname
3) contact e-mail
This is the end of the official part. As soon as your site is included in the ZXBN lists, you will be notified that you can now proudly bear the name "ZXBN MEMBER"
If any questions or suggestions arise, as well as if
assistance is neededcreating a banner, send it to the address mini...@softhome.net
