ZX Format?

ZXNet echo conference «real.speccy»

From Valerij Kozhevnikoff To All 24 August 2002

Hello, All!

People, how can I download an article from a subject to disk? After all, I saw an article from there in the echoes, so it’s possible. Or were they manually copied from the screen?
Magic is useless - it’s in some incomprehensible format... It seems to be
packed and unpacked as it is displayed on the screen, or maybe these are color management codes.

As far as I remember, there are colors and some words, and double spaces are replaced
with control codes. At one time I loaded such text into an IS-DOS editor, and then searched for these codes and then replaced them with the necessary words/symbols/spaces. Everything was very fast. One of the local spectromists
went further: he intercepted the output to the screen and redirected this matter to write
to a file.

There is such a program SCREEN TRANSLATER UNIVERSAL V1.0, I pulled it out.
Very universal program, you can adapt to any matrix
you can even customize it to your font.
If necessary, I can soap it up.

All the best, Valerij!
