Actually, the idea of recording sound from a tape onto a CD is correct. You just don't know.
There is a diagram for connecting SDrom via a tape port. This is precisely why information needs to be written in this form. So you are in vain...

Why is this idea crazy? Just the thing! Nowadays there is just a trend of a total transition from cassettes to CDs, as custodians of sound information. Yes, and blank discs are cheaper than cassettes, and today there are no problems at all with recording/rewriting them. So it’s much simpler, better quality, faster, etc. etc. burn unpacked TZXs onto CD and then enjoy
downloading branded releases of your favorite toys to Spec. So, the reliability
of reading is higher, you don’t need to constantly adjust the tape head
to the cassette, the CD won’t get jammed (although it can get scratched), the CD is much
faster to rewrite than a cassette, with repeated re-recording the quality doesn’t
deteriorate one gram and, most importantly, the desired toy on the CD is found instantly.
And the difference is in connecting to the Spectrum There is no tape recorder or CD player at all. So I am for storing programs for the REAL Spectrum on AudioCD.
Best regards, Stanislav.

Completely wrong! Such CDs have been sold and are being sold, the Play button can be found even on modern CD-ReWriters. So finding such a CD-ROM, either used or new, is not a problem at all. Such a syudyuk will easily take the place of one of the 5.25" disk drives, the same power supply from the disk drive will do. And the headphone output can simply be connected to the tape input. One bad thing is that you won't be able to download
it.

Tell me where this landfill is, I’ll go and pick it up. :)
But here you are wrong. First, there was a new wave of LEDs with a full set of buttons, although they are an order of magnitude more expensive than usual, but they even have a remote control. :) Secondly, for
300-400 rubles (if my memory serves me correctly) you can assemble a small circuit on the
Z80 (although it also needs buttons and a small display), which will completely
replace the buttons on the CD itself and will allow you to compose programs (it will be like some kind of music center :). I planned to embed such a remote control on the front panel of the system unit. But finances do not allow this yet. :((
And this suggests that the Spectrum itself can be forced to do the same.

Well, at least because the tapes need to be rewinded. In addition, there is no need to adjust the position of the head from cassette to cassette.
And copying games from compact to compact is just a fairy tale.
Reliability of reading is amazing. I would gladly switch to compacts if I didn’t have a floppy drive and hard drive.

There is a WinZIP icon on the main page. There you go in and see a list of
the latest Upadates, you apparently downloaded them, and above them is a line from letters - each
letter is also an archive.
When I started to unpack and sort everything, I discovered a lot of
repeating files. Some TZXs are repeated under different names
(identified using the UnDouble program. And there were different ones in the archives). garbage,
for example, a couple of MP3s...
