Well, I cooked it up over the weekend...

From Renat Mamedov To All 8 January 1999

Hello, All!

According to numerous requests (one person responded,
who had never even seen Sprinter), I’m throwing out a new version.
The volume is small, 27 sectors, rules are not prohibited,
so catch it.
In short:

Works under SPRINTER-1 & 2 firmware. Maybe on others too...
Requests (takes and frees up) memory using BIOS
according to the size of the downloaded file....

After loading, a list of files
from the current disk converter falls out on the 64*24 screen, by the way, it can be changed with buttons
F1-F4 (Owners will appreciate the humor:).

Extensions are displayed as three-letter ones (if any).
After selecting a file, its length is determined (up to 128 pieces
by Melon standard). The maximum file size is 128 pieces in
640kb. The entire thing is loaded into memory...
The pieces can be of any length, incl. and not a multiple of the sector
(old unsip).

After loading there is a process of constructing a table of the beginnings of letters
in memory. The process is clear - the bottom line displays the number
of processed letters.

After all this, the program turns on 80*32 and displays a table like:
aria, from whom, to whom.
And so on all the letters in the package. On the very bottom line the subject from the letter on which the cursor is located is displayed. The cursor is controlled
by the cursor keys :).

After selecting a letter, we drop into the reader itself.
Single-frame scroller, 80*32 mode.
Service linesinformation (patch, seen-by e.t.c.) are not
output, however, you can turn on their output (ALT-Y),
in this case they will be highlighted in green.
Lines with '>' are highlighted in yellow and blue. The color depends
on the quantity of '>'. Thus, it is almost clear what who
said :).

In the reader, the cursor is up/down, PageUp, Down - respectively
crawling through the letter line by line and page by page.
Cursor left/right - previous. letter/next letter.

Pressing in the reader will return to the list of letters.
Pressing in the list of letters will return to re-reading the directory
and selecting a file.
Pressing in the filer will lead to nothing. :)

Subjects in the list of letters are aligned in the center of the line...

In an hour and a half, I'll probably upload the current letter from the reader
as a package with one letter...
Or maybe it would be better in text?

This is the version of the investigation. I said.

Bah! Who do I see! Renat, is that you?!

It happened on 08 Jan 99 at 13:20:19, when
Renat Mamedov nevertheless risked writing All

Thanks for such detailed information about the work of the reader!
I was not able to see the truth in the work, but the feeling that arose after reading
this message was like I had just actively worked in it :)))
