Resurrection of the Spectrum
ZXNet echo conference «real.speccy»
From Yegor Samusev → To All 12 March 2002
How many happy days were spent with the ZX-Spectrum, but alas, sooner or
later everything ends, but not always...
I still have my old Spectrum collecting dust on the shelf. To throw it away - the hand
doesn't rise. Sometimes I’ll take it out, look at it, remember the happy times and
put it back. A few days ago I literally saved two Spectrums from imminent death. My best friend was going to throw them away, but thanks to the fact that I
was in the right place and at the right time, I was able to prevent everything.
One of them turned out to be Leningrad, the other was of an incomprehensible design, with
a cable for a screw or for a disk drive. So now I have three models.
I felt so sorry for them that I decided to take up the subject, but alas, I don’t
understand this. Maybe someone will help me repair them or at least
look and say whether they can be repaired or not?
