On Rockwell, look in the settings - it should be “&M5” - the connection
is disconnected without error correction, i.e. Connect 14400/V32 None will no longer exist! In general,
do “AT$”, “AT&$”, “ATS$” in the terminal - the modem will issue help with commands.

Hello All!

This subject:
One friend put together a circuit diagram for connecting an interior modem. The modem was on the
ROCWELL chipset without correction with the v32 protocol, speed 14400. It worked, but without
correction it does not work (all sorts of glitches on the screen). I brought my USR Sportster
14400, also an interior one, but it didn't work for him. ROCWELL without PNP, and USR with
it. Subject, why? If there are new schemes or anything else, please post them!

I decided to add my opinion there too.

hmm, sorry, but even I know that pnp momeds (like win) do not
get under spec...

Good luck to you, Evgeny Bezukladnikov !

You're driving! Without correction there were only up to 2400. Even those modems for 2400, which
can now be obtained - all with correction.

EB> It worked, but without correction it doesn’t work (all sorts of glitches on the screen).
Didn’t you try to “clean” the line?
And in general, are you sure that the connection was like this - “CONNECT” 14400/NONE" ?
Maybe it’s all about the unbuffered data bus and large interference?

EB> ROCWELL without PNP, and USR with it. Subject, why?
Ah, because of PnP just...

Good luck! Evgeny. (Aka 2:5057/18.73)

Yes, there are always problems with this ;(

Unfortunately, the circuit will not help, it’s not the PNP modem that is needed on Specky.

Long life and prosperity to you, Evgeny!

With best wishes, Musa Khaybullin.

Congenial! Since when does &M5 include rockwell correction? \N2, dear.
He doesn’t know how to AT$, etc. You can try AT\S
