Question...

ZXNet echo conference «real.speccy»

From Maxim Latysh To All 24 August 2002

Once on 12 Aug 02 I read an opus in which
Vadik Akimoff and Igor Turashev spoke on the topic Question..., so I intervened:

VA>>>>> Without a clock, will writing to the AY ports take place?
IT>>>> then, in theory, it shouldn’t.
VA>>> Why?
IT>> well, how can it count what is on the Is entrance accepted? it is clocked
IT>> it is not for beauty :)

VA> How, for example, does IR22 read what is given as input? AY records
VA> data in
VA> registers using exchange signals (BC1|2, BDIR). And the clock only feeds the frequency dividers
VA>.

Oops... Well, of course, only cool hardware people can ask such well-known things
:))))

With respect, Maxony.

From Igor Turashev To All 26 August 2002

I don’t remember anymore, it seems to be due to the difference of one of the pulses.

VA> data in registers for exchange signals (BC1|2, BDIR). And the clock
VA> only feeds the frequency dividers.
strange, although it’s still a synthesizer.

Firstly, this is not a well-known thing - few people answered my question, and
mostly in the style of 'maybe'. Secondly, you didn’t answer - you didn’t know this at all. Thirdly, through direct experimentation and comprehension of the results, I
received an answer to my question. And you, as always, just get in the way
like Moska :-))

Bye...

Ksati, and what is the result?

Bye...

Well, yes, this is ir23, and ir22 is generally static - recording occurs all the time
as long as the PE input is one. In addition, writing to these microcircuits somehow
occurs without supplying them through a separate input of a clock frequency of 1.75 MHz
:)

VA> Well, yes, this is IR23, and IR22 is generally static - recording occurs all the time

well, that means you can also clock :) the difference is in the difference or in the impulse
the clock :)

VA> somehow happens without supplying them with a clock
VA> frequency of 1.75 MHz through a separate input :)
there is still a controller :)

VA> Why is it strange? Why complicate the circuit by synchronizing the recording with
VA> clock?
So why complicate it? no matter how you look at it, it's still a trigger :) on the conductor inside
saved :)
