Either I'm confusing something, or the standards have changed :) Gluck, if I'm not mistaken
had the following ports: #DFF7 - register selection, #EFF7 - data, #FFFC - permission
access
to m/s. According to the given diagram, everything is different.
RM> A13 ─2─┤A1│ ╞─14 ┌───┐ │ │ │
RM> A14 ─3─┤A2│ ╞─13 ┌─11┤1 ╞─13─┐ ├───┤ │

Well, okay, ports. According to the above diagram, as well as according to the
Gluck scheme, the /DS, AS, R/W signals are not generated correctly. In the doc
to 512VI1 it is written that the signal states should be as follows:
AS R/W /DS
nothing 0 1 1
select register 1 1 1
read from register 0 1 0
write to register 0 0 1
In this circuit we have unknown what. I tried to connect
via Glitch, and it broke down. I had to do everything myself:
┌──┐
selecting a portdata ──┬───────┤1 ├───> to the 17th leg VI1
│ /RD─┤ │
│ ├──┤
└───────┤1 ├───> to the 15th leg VI1
/WR─┤ │
└──┘
┌──┐
select address port ──────────┤ o───> to the 14th leg of VI1
└──┘
That’s how it all worked. Or maybe my VI1 is broken? :).

It seems that you recently started reading this echo...
There were a lot of bazaars about this, and under public pressure :) Mr. Gluck
changed standard.
On ZX_Server there is a new circuit and a dock from Mr. Gluck, read it.

Everything there is formed correctly!
You seem to have truncated information on VI1. The functions of these inputs are broader.
And I also wrote about this here.
VV> In this circuit we have unknown what. I tried
It’s just _you_ “don’t know what.”

It looks like you messed up somewhere else. This scheme has been working for me for a long time.

You know better there. :)

It’s really worth it. I have a lithium battery from a “talking” watch
it’s thin, it’s enough.
All the best.
Roman.

Why bother so much - there is DALLAS, which rules 4ever.
You don’t need almost any parts or batteries, especially!

So you have it in 5030, but here I barely dug up 512VI1!
2All: Who knows anything about UM82C8167? This is also CMOS.

Yes...
All the best.
With respect Roman.

Here. This question worries me too. I have a real-life guy here in Fido, how can he do without CMOS? And I have two UM's lying around...
Hasta la vista.

Well, neither he is the first nor he is the last :) all fidosh clock software is a time setter in ZED, there is no need to set the current clock for this imho.
Sincerely, Andrey.

Yeah... I've been using ZED for a couple of days - my hands hurt from every minute
interruption of time :( It's better with a clock! :)

Actually, we were talking about the scarcity of 512VI1 and the availability of UM82C8167...
Is it worth setting the clock just for the sake of ZED - in my opinion - it’s worth it!
All the best.
Roman.

And I have people here in Fido... Tested :)
Zed with a propeller - a complete steering wheel! How he tosses!... How he links... Pestnya! :)
Don’t ask how I added the screw to the spec - I didn’t add anything :)
But I surfed the live disk - I managed to eat, wash and wait :)
