USRobotics Sportster 14400 fax-modem (HELP!) — ZXNet «real.speccy»

Greetings to you All!

Has anyone had experience working with a subject on ZX-SPECTRUM?
When working in terminal mode (MELON v1.79), the person
having the subject has distorted symbols and the connection is very unstable
(NO CARRIER is often issued), and for me (I am on at the other
end of the wire) all the characters transmitted by the person who has the subject are not distorted.
When trying to change the speed of the modem, with the computer port, nothing changed.
If someone has already had a similar experience or knows how to set up the subject, please help maybe.
I would be very glad if someone publishes a list of commands
that made the subject work on the ZX-SPECTRUM.

P.S. When a person uses another modem (at 1200), then
everything works fine.
P.P.S. I have a Prolink 2400 fax-modem.

Almost all of my settings are set to factory settings. Except: &S1, S6=4, S7=90.
And one more thing, although you don’t need it. I now have a VERY disgusting line, only S9=22, S10=255, S19=1 save me from frequent disconnections. Even V32bis had to be banned. :(

PS. In general, I’m very pleased with the subject!

It looks like error correction protocols are disabled...
