turbo-ZX
ZXNet echo conference «real.speccy»
From Kirill Petrenko → To All 9 September 1999
People! After reading zx.spectrum and real.speccy,
I took my homemade product from 5 years ago from the shelf
I wiped off the dust, turned it on - it works!
It’s a lot of pleasure, I’m especially happy with all sorts of new products.
However, the question arose: here it turns out that everyone
has been working on turbos for a long time, but in my time this never happened!
Help a person who knows how to hold in his hands soldering iron!
Share the diagram of the simplest turbo (but not for the Pentagon,
otherwise I broke all my brains trying to figure out its diagram.)
I have a homemade ZX-128K, according to the diagram it is closest to Leningrad.
I saw somewhere that there is a very simple turbo scheme for
Leningrad on TM2+KP11.
Or at least explain to in words, how to properly form
the WAIT signal so that it works (but the scheme is still better).
You can answer by e-mail or in echo (I don’t have FIDO).
Thanks in advance!
P.S. Can someone else explain to me why my sound constantly floats on the AY8910? Otherwise my ear for music is suffering!

Somehow Thu 9 Sep 1999 at 11:23:41 there was a conflict
Kirill Petrenko and All were arguing about turbo-ZX
I decided to add heat to this dialogue
KP> P.S. Can someone else explain to me why my
KP> sound constantly floats on the AY8910? Otherwise my ear for music is suffering!
I’ll try to replace the conder with INT
With best wishes, Max Shashkin.

This thing may help!!! And also run TEST v4.22 and test your machine with it ;) According to the test, the duration of INT should be from 32 to 38 cycles, and
the duration is selected by the controller on the INT signal.
Long life and prosperity to you, Kirill!
With best wishes, Musa Khaybullin.

the duration of INT is practically not critical on most computers. I had the same thing, the reason is Conder. And also, please, could someone throw TEST v
