Salaam-alleykum, dear All?

1.People, clean up the Pentagon’s turbocharger scheme. PLEASE!!! If anyone else needs it, then in the echo.
2. Write down the #EFF7 port bit by bit.
And in addition how these bits work.
For example:
bit 0=1 the computer works
bit 0=0 the computer goes into eternal meditation and nothing saves it ;)

Sincerely, Murad Davronbekov.

Hello, Kirill!

I recently flew here, together with HD.

I’m already tired PUBLISH, but it’s just crap “as always.” :(

Here are the #EFF7 bits, which are standard and used by many:
bit 1 - additional graphics mode 512*192pix
bit 2 - RAM latch more than 128K
bit 7 - permission to access Gluk-CMOS

+ another bit 0 - additional graph mode "attribute per byte"
bit 4 - GIGASCREEN
interesting, has anyone made them?

the rest are also used very rarely and who will come up with something. For example, on my computer
bit 6 allows access to DOS, i.e. you can programmatically exit to MADROM, I
use this often.

By the way, about bit 2.
Po According to the idea of Renat Mamedov, I did this:

750 Om
bit2 #EFF7 ────███──┬─── to 15n KP11
│ according to the SIMM 1M by AXLR
/DOS scheme. ─────┤<──┘ for the Pentagon
D9

and there in the circuit from 12N KP11 to +5V a 1K resistor is connected, so itsyou need to
unhook it from +5 and attach it to GND.
Now RAM over 128K is blocked by this bit only in SOS, and in DOS it remains
open, thanks to which there is access to the RAM disk even when the RAM is blocked.
You can, for example, throw it onto a RAM disk and run Oeron-5 from there and it works perfectly
and does not spoil itself yourself.

All the best.
Sincerely, Roman.
