Here there is such a question: the computer, the infection, burns all the VGs that you insert into it.
What could be the matter? I recently soldered a new cable from the controller to the flop guide,
maybe it’s worth checking?

VG93 usually does not have direct contact with the cable. The buffers are there. How exactly do they burn, when the power is turned on, or during operation is there nothing wrong with it?
Does it stop writing or hangs up the car on the bus? Symptoms in more detail, PLZ.

Check, maybe you have 12 volts later than 5 volts supplied from the power supply? VG-ka
are afraid of the lack of 12v when 5 are supplied. Usually, to prevent such cases, a diode is installed - 5 V is supplied through the diode to the 40th leg of the VG. It seems so. And also
if your computer does not work with the disk, and the VG gets very hot, check the buffers, maybe one has failed and is loading it immeasurably ;-).

It’s just the opposite (although he’s also afraid of the opposite).
That’s why they install a diode so that at least 5 comes in if 12 no.
Then at least three minutes before it crashes, and during this time

I didn’t want to answer this letter, but since there are a lot of similar ones
I will have to.
In my practice, there were several cases of VG failure due to the lack of 12V when
five were applied. And at the same time, it’s not in vain that the diode is installed - from 5V to 12V, i.e. so that on
40 leg
at least 5 volts, but there was. Of course, the absence of 5V when 12V is supplied is no less
dangerous for
the health of the VG.

AL> How, at the same time? Well, if it hangs, then it is clear that

If it crashes and at the same time hangs the machine altogether -
it is clear that it is draining the data/address/control buses of the
machine itself. That is, the input buffers of the VG are knocked out.
But here the reason is more likely on the side of the circuits connected
to the inputs of the VG.
Knock out, for example, AY on the output - the machine will not hang.
Sincerely, Wladimir

This could be the fault of both the disk drive and the buffer elements.
At +30 degrees in my hot room, a Pentagon with
4 disk drives is only capable of writing on SONY,
the other three drives, even Epson, become “read-only”.

The impulsnik is the best solution. The best one is from "Search",
if you can get it - it runs a computer with 4 disk drives and a modem,

I actually meant whether your VGshka is glitching from overheating,
if so, then take it to the morgue :(
and to cool it down - anoint it with cotton wool soaked in alcohol/cologne/or whatever
and a little blow - it will be clear right away!

Similarly. :) True, my case does not have any slots (in sufficient quantities) and
there is a lot stuffed into it (modem, power supply and some other crap). :) I was warming up terribly, because of which the ksasik ruined the floppy disks. :) As soon as the cooler was set to four,

You can attach a radiator on top of it, but this is a “poultice to the ass.”
It’s not a matter of temperature.
I’ve already heard about similar problems in the Pentagon twice.
One person regularly changed VGshki once a month, another also burned several pieces.
In both cases, the cause was eliminated. How - I don’t know, or I forgot, or didn’t
ask.
In my practice, I have never seen such cases, where everything is normal, but
the VGs are burning. Once there was a similar effect, but there was a broken panel under the VGshka, I changed the panel (no amount of “protection” can save me here). Another time this
was due to a defect in the power supply - sometimes +5V disappeared...

No. It doesn’t have to be.
Sometimes this can be cured by increasing the capacity on the 6th leg of the IR16 in the controller
of the drive (D96 in the Pentagon) to ~300 pf.
Personally I also had this problem once. Installing
this container helped partially (it worked longer, but still sometimes the disks were stuck). Finally
I got rid of it only by installing a normal square quartz (before that
the “boat”
was a known crap).
