From Tim Kelly To All 21 March 1999

I greet you from the bottom of my heart, All!

Has anyone encountered this kind of nonsense?: after turning on the computer for ten minutes
there is no WriteData signal (determined by FUT by the inability to format anything), over time the situation improves, some sectors on the track begin to be written, after ten minutes - ideal work until shutdown.
Who could it be? Was VG'shka noticed in such rants?
I haven't gotten into the computer yet - I don't have time. Any ideas?

[Team Kelly]
Hasta la vista.

I have. Especially on 5305 Baku with a Pentagon paired.

The delay on the VG93 in the form of a capacitance is about 0.1-0.5 microfarads from the IP signal (at
VG) to ground. Or on the disk drive parallel to the indexer photodiode the capacity is
about 100 pf.

TK> Who could it be? Was VG'shka noticed in such kicks?

It may be cured by selecting VG, but this is not the best method.

TK> I haven’t climbed into the computer yet - I don’t have time. Any ideas?

There are more than enough ideas for hardware. :-) Write what happens.

With respect, Alex from FFC COMPUTERS.

Maybe the problem is not in the board with the controller, but in the disk drive?
But most likely there is a bad contact, it warms up in 10 minutes and works
perfectly. There may be a torn track on the board - it is very difficult to find.

If you have Scorp, then it is most likely VG'kha. Although you can try
supporting 31 legs of the VG to 5V. My friend’s father actually did a clever thing: he put a 0.1 µF capacitor (ceramics) on the disk drive signal on. engine (HLD\M)
