As far as I understand, people don’t have any questions yet, since they talk here
mainly about hardware, and everyone is hanging out in ZX.SPECTRUM

PS. Please me with new modem programs.

Sorry, they brought fresh beer...

As soon as Max Shaitan gives me my modem, I will
finish the normal version in a day or two S-Terminal. :)

Good luck! Evgeny. (Aka 2:5057/18.73)

AHA! Gotcha! Answer right away - will your s-terminal support 512x192 and
read the DSP normally? and what about working with momed on 33600? and will there be
S-Mailer? ;) because Melon is not a mailer, but a perversion. and dickie is a brake, it doesn’t rustle as required with momeds
above 14.4K... :-<<<

definitely, with a soaper, even if it’s the simplest one, oh how necessary! And one more thing: how is it with the support of

ja-ja, I join :). and I can continue: sending files by direct, support
attachments, uploading to hold, e.t.c...?

From Evgeny Milun To All 20 July 2000

And this is easy, but I need statistics on who and how different these
characteristics are. There you just need to adjust one coefficient, but I don’t know what exactly it should be, since no one tells me that “hey, dude, your CPS is considered to be such and such, but in reality they were such and such...” In short, I just
need specific numbers, and I will “make it all work.” :)))

ND> and how about working with momed on 33600?
Z-a-p-p-a-s-t-a! :) It was the support for high speeds that was one of the reasons for the improvements. All this is supported. I connected myself!

ND> and will there be an S-Mailer? ;)
It will... But, again, not before Max gives back the modem. :) Because without a modem,
there are only theoretical developments. :) But everything needs to be done periodically
this is proven in practice...

Well, when the DSP is about 1500, then the terminal is lying on the higher side by 100-200 approximately,
true I The last time I checked was a long time ago :( I mean, in fact, the CPU is 1300, and
the terminal shows about 1500...

From Evgeny Milun To All 24 July 2000

Everything will be. As a last resort, Max Shaitan will make me a driver... the only question is time and the fact that the same Max has now usurped my modem. :)

IT> And normal ansi support? and zmodem auto?
This has been available for almost one and a half to two years now in the new version of S-Terminal, which
I will not publish, and which only runs here in Samara. :(((

ND> and if we make it simpler - divide the _total_ volume of information transferred by the time spent

So, that’s the problem, that when calculating time, this
coefficient is needed. Because My time is calculated not by the CMOS clock, but by interruptions...

ND> because a dynamic DSP, IMHO, is not needed.
These, to be honest, are already details. It’s quite simple to make both DSPs, but, after all,
the issue of correct calculation of time will not disappear.

EM> The maximum for the Spectrum is about 1500-2500, if I don’t drive it. Although, personally
EM> I have completely different problems in this regard - a rotten line.
Well, my line is great, but the rest in the city are very bad, and on
my normal digital stations there is not a damn thing ;) So there is not much benefit ;)
By the way, don’t forget to do a port lock at 115200, because it’s so special
to withstand the clock cycles Maybe I already calculated this somehow, only if the characters were not printed during reception :) Well, with us there shouldn’t be any special problems with this...

I would look at it with great pleasure, but I just can’t launch it, I can’t
figure out the settings. Someone would write why which line
is needed. But strangely enough, I began to get the impression that
except for the author, no one had even seen the wild ones, because as soon as I asked for help in setting up the wild ones, everyone would immediately remain silent. And I would even like it very much

MS> question: how can I get a wild person to pick up the phone with a modem and
MS> to get through to the boss?

First, set up events. Secondly, register the boss’s phone number and time in
dickie.cfg, nodelists do not connect to dickie. Well, you can also configure the speed
of the modem, initialization lines, dial prefix... And in order for the modem
to be detected at all, you need to use the appropriate DosX. Those. if you
have a Kondratiev modem, then DosX does not need to be taken from SMUC and vice versa.
