From Leonid Mishankov To All 14 March 1999

Hello All!

I am very concerned why no one has yet raised the issue of this
music editor. So I found it on the Internet the day before yesterday. Here's what I can
say, considering that I'm not a musician:
-very nice interface, similar to Sound Tracker, but cooler
-there is the ability to loop instruments anywhere, for any segment
-built-in compiler (in 128k mode)
-convenient editor of instruments and ornaments, you don't need to know all the hot
keys, everything is controlled arrow
-Tools from A to Z - count how many for yourself, it seems you can call them names with small
letters
-DELAY from 1 to 32
-Arbitrary pattern length
-Color settings

For now, that’s all I noticed.

Of the shortcomings, I can name the awesome length of the compositions in uncompiled form
(30-80 seconds, how do you like it?). The compiled version is on average 2-4 KB, i.e. very acceptable.

I have a complete set, this is:
-SQ Editor - the editor itself
-SQ Compiler
-SQ Linker - I still don’t understand why
-SQ Sources - these are not source codes, but a set of Mouzons :)

And now the main thing:
*****************************************************************************************************

We need a person who will make a high-quality product out of all this (full) TR-DOS
version.
Or express your thoughts about whatthis may be sax...

Although, to be honest, of all our editors, he is surpassed only by PT3.31 and
PSC (very cool design!!! Thx 2 KVA for this exxxelent editor!!!).

And you thought, why Slovaks, Poles, etc. do they still write all the muse in
SQ-Tracker?

By agreement of Tim and Roman (Best wishes 2 Moderatorial) it is possible to post this
software in this echo...

So, gentlemen, speak out, your opinion is very interesting - why
after all, SQT has not yet gained popularity in exx-ussr along with ST...

P.S. And I also dug up a digital muse editor, by the way, it’s also quite cool!
+Color Draw - multicolor editor
+another editor for beeper - much cooler than Wham! 48k

Always yours, LEO/SG.

I look at the screen and see that on 03/14/99,
Leonid Mishankov was pushing the market to All
about "SQ-Tracker", and I decided
to subscribe:

Hi, Leonid!

If you had also read the echo MUSIC, then I knew that I've been looking for this
editor for a week now :)

Not bad data :)

Well, this is nonsense, the main thing is that it has the convenience for
writing music, and that the sound does not depress. :)

But you can’t do it yourself? :). !
