Sabzh is a rare animal in our area and generally a rare animal in nature.
Has anyone seen it in the vast territory formed after
the collapse of the USSR?

I used the SinclairQL emulator for MacOS 8.1. It didn't look anything like a Spectrum, rather a sub-commodore. There was a microdrive
and in order to download the included software I had to ask
people. They said. I don’t remember how, but I downloaded the advertising demo.
On the top is the inscription SinclaiQL, underneath it flies, or rather comotoses
a Boeing. The laurels of the Amiga A1000 did not give rest to the creators. =)
If for the Speccy the background is white by default, for the C64 it is blue,
here it was a terrible shade of red. And purple letters.
Can you imagine? I vomited terribly from the included
"software" archive. Of course, I didn’t have any versions of spec software for MD; I couldn’t check compatibility.
I didn’t have any desire to look elsewhere for some kind of “software” for this
understand that, the desire didn’t arise..
Cordially yours...

It is not essentially a ZX. It looks like itself. On the Internet I somehow came across the
QL-mailing list (I think it was organized on Yahoo groups). There they mainly discuss homemade computers with a 68040 CPU and produced by enthusiasts from Germany (I think you can still buy a board). All software there comes down to
built-in BASIC and Linux68k.
Regards.

hmm, what kind of compatibility could there be if it’s a Motorola and not a Zilog... the same
as with pegasus with commodore amiga..

Wow... When they talk about QL, they usually mean a line
from Rodionov (and that article was compiled by analogy with
the article on A.H.G., Mikhailov also subsequently wrote about
an AAA-chipset machine, but that was just translation).
Rodionov wrote: “Sinclair QL was conceived as a cheap
alternative to the IBM PC, 32-bit processor, 128K-4Mb
memory. In concept, it was 3 years ahead of the Commodore Amiga.”
That's all. This is where the story ends, the reader
figures out the rest himself. My impression: of course, it is far from the C64,
not to mention the A1000, this is just a ridiculous comparison.
But I assumed the processor was some kind of 32-bit
Zilog (this follows directly from the context in which
QL was described). Thanks for the information.. =)

Even worse, obviously. There was nothing even
remotely reminiscent of Oxford BASIC, rather
it looked like local basic on UK-NC (and it was taken
from somewhere in the ancient UNIXes, even UNIXes won’t say
where).

It was impossible for us to meet him in a reasonable time - export
restrictions (the same as for the poppy and the Amiga). The platform did not have anything more or less remarkable, except perhaps microdrives instead of disk drives.
Accordingly, it also did not receive distribution. Currently,
several units of this equipment are in operation under the control of an M68K-Linux ported by some
entuonist.
