As I already wrote, it is pointless to put protection on system programs,
and if you sell single copies, then it will be enough for someone alone
to buy a copy so that the disk quickly spreads throughout the city. Selling by distribution kits will allow at least a littlemake money
for program authors. You can, of course, sell 5-10 copies,
but what's the point if they are still not protected? And 10 people can chip in for the distribution
and then make copies for themselves.
Maybe you can offer something better?
Bye!

We are not going to sell old versions that everyone has,
for example, you will like Real Commander 2.0 with a modular system,
with the included modules for working with HDD, General player Sound,
a full-fledged disk formatter, etc.? By the way, module authors
will also be able to earn something. Also with games, it will be updated
Technodrom (improved graphic design, gameplay),
Conversion, Manager, although they are written mainly in BASIC,
they are still of considerable interest for fans of
investment games, in the latter, in addition to other players
you can play with computer, the logic for it is developed
not weak.

Has no one tried to set the price of distribution kits depending on the size
of the population of the city to which a particular distribution kit will be sent?
All the best.
Roman.

Mainly for Real Commander and Technodrom+, I promise to significantly rework the latter and take into account all wishes. Are there really only emulator people sitting here and they're not interested in Spekov's toys?
Although the graphics are not always the main thing in a game, for example, I like Spekov's Laser Squad more than the crappy Jagged Alliance2,
it's kind of boring. By the way, there is also my Russification of
Laser Squad and 3 new levels, it can also be included in the subject.
Since the subject is supposed to be made without protection, emulators can use it
with the same success.

Exactly, when 70% of the echo platform knows ASM,
it is naive to hope for any protection, and when I try
to sell an unprotected distribution for $10 without any
restrictions, questions immediately begin to ask why it is so expensive.
Is it really possible? It’s hard to get 5-10 people for a distribution, because
usually in every city the spektrumists know each other.

If you can write some systems on the ball (although often
no less effort is put into them than intosome kind of toy),
it’s unlikely
that anyone would want to write truly global games on a ball. If there were a sufficient financial incentive, our
group could well be engaged in serious games,
and there are not enough of us on Xixit.
