Hello, Kirill!

Sunday April 27, 2003 08:04:52 Kirill Frolov -> Nikolaj Amosov:

NA>> Another option is ext+the letter with which the file name begins. And
NA>> you can switch to another panel if you pressed ext and
NA>> released
NA>> without pressing a letter...
NA>> Then it will be possible to use the register via CS.

KF> EXT = _CS_ + SS. What the hell register? And there are problems with EXT-Z,
KF> EXT-SPACE.

press ext+letter - we are in quick search mode. Next ext
there is no need to hold it anymore - just press the necessary letters/numbers, either with
caps or without it.
Insanity...

Hello, Pawel!

PK> Hello Nikolaj!

PK>>>> BackSpace, but this key is standardly used to
PK>>>> return to
PK>>>> the previous directory, although there are no directories in RC yet ;).
VS>>> SS+F?
NA>> CS+the letter with which the file name begins?

PK> You probably didn’t use the quick search never.

There was no such need. I’m just used to the absence of this
useful function in other commanders, so I search the old fashioned way - with a cursor.

PK> By the way, I have different uppercase and lowercase letters,
PK> so starting the search through CS+letter still doesn’t work.
