From Pavel Hoteev To All 1 July 1999

Playful hands are reaching out to write to you, All!
on the calendar Thursday July 01, 1999, and the rooster crowed: 10:47

Once again I ask the question! how to rip the firmware for Pro in 27512 to 2 27256!
and which part to insert into which bed! Help! The pro is idle! and 27512
buy for nothing, since 27256 is there and lying idle.

Sincerily yours Pavel Hoteev!

I already answered you with soap, didn’t it really get there?
On the motherboard - Basic128+Basic48, on the controller - CPM+TR_DOS
Sincerely, SP/PoS.

It’s better to buy 27512, otherwise you will have to remake your computer.

Sincerely, Musa Khaybullin.

As you want, you can drink it into 2 _equal_ parts.
It all depends on connecting 2 27256.

Greetings, Pavel

Somehow Thu 1 Jul 1999 at 09:47:36 there was a conflict
Pavel Hoteev and All were arguing about the topic of the belly
I decided to add heat to this dialogue

PH> Playful hands are reaching out to write to you, All!

From Felix Knajzev To All 7 July 1999

PH> lie idle.

1. It is necessary to divide the firmware file for 27512 into two equal parts.
I.e. there was a file with a length of 65536 bytes, and now there are two files with lengths of
32768 bytes.

2. The file with the first 32K 27512 is called 'rom_0.bin', and the file with the second
32K - 'rom_1.bin'. This is for future work to avoid
confusion.

3. We flash these files into two 27256. Accordingly, let's call them
'ROM_0' (with firmware 'rom_0.bin') and 'ROM_1' (with firmware 'rom_1.bin').

4. Now there is one subtlety: you need to look at the diagram where the legs 20 and 22 27512 went. Ideally - 20 for the “ground”, 22 somewhere. :)

5. We stack two 27256 in a “sandwich” (one on top of the other, respecting the “key” area) so that the terminals of the “upper” MS lie on top of the terminals of the “lower” MS. With the
exception of terminals 22
both 27256. It is advisable to bend terminals 22 parallel to the MS housings so that they do not subsequently fall into the crib socket. (pornography
some kind :) All pins of both MSs are carefully soldered (with the exception of pins
22!)

6. It is necessary to cut off the conductor that fits the 1st leg of the crib for 27512.
The first leg of the crib must be set to +5V.

7. You need to apply “ground” to the 20th leg of the crib (depending
on the specific situation. You need to know _exactly_ what signals
went to the 20th and 22nd legs27512!)

8. We remember the conductor that we cut off from the 1st leg of the socket for 27512.
(item 6) We feed it (the signal from this conductor) to the 22nd leg of MS 'ROM_0' 27256.
The signal from the same conductor is fed through any element 'HE'
(inverter: LH1, LE1, LA3, etc.) to 22nd leg MS 'ROM_1' 27256.

9. That's it.

If I knew exactly what signals came to legs 20 and 22
27512, then the advice would be more specific...

Sincerely, Felix.

Sadist. Everything would be sawed and cut :)
In the profi we put a glitch with tyrdos on the peripheral board, bass on the processor board.
The machine will be in working condition by installing the necessary jumpers.
Give the scalpel to the surgeon :)

Sincerely,
Renat

Here you go! That's how I would explain it to a person. :) The last time I saw Pro was in 1991. I have no idea about its hardware features. But this is how the person formulated the question: “...there was one 27512 (as I
understood, EVERYTHING was stitched into it), we need to replace it with two 27256...”. So I brought up “technology”. :)
