Hi!
On 26 Jun 98 (14:44) you wrote something I decided to answer..
VH>> Question to local newspaper writers (if there are any
VH>> here).
VK> There are :)
This is good. :)
VK> This is not only easier, but also more convenient. For example, a user
VK> is leafing through a newspaper, flipping through it, and suddenly a picture comes across the border of the pages.
VK> What should I do? Look for the beginning of the picture, the size, and then calculate
VK> what should be displayed and what should not. So inconvenient and long. It’s easier to cut
VK> all the sprites and display a separate piece on each line - it’s enough
VK> quickly and you almost don’t have to think.
This way it’s more convenient to view the document, but not create it. Or, to conveniently
create such a document, you need a separate program.
VK> In the place where the color changes, not only a new attribute is placed, but also
VK> the attribute that was there before.
And if the color change occurred in the middle of the line? You still need to scan
even just a line. What if there was no color change? What then? Then, for
greater 'simplicity', you need to make a buffer of 24 bytes and remember the initial
attributes of all lines? So what?
VK> When scrolling forward, everything is clear, but when scrolling back, if
VK> the color change code is found, then all the lines at the top will be printed
VK> in the old color that was just found.
An interesting solution.. It,I hope it's not patented? ;) Do you add these
'old' attributes manually or automatically? After all, you can reserve
1 byte for it and then automatically set it.
VH>> set the color change. 8( ) I looked in addition to the above in
VH>> ZX-News, Proton and some others..
VK> “Optocoupler” look.
VH>> Well, you can still trick up sprites by creating a simple sign
VH>> of their location, but with colors... What progress says - how to do
VH>> it’s FAST and humanly?
VK> Humanly, is this so that hackers can tear out pictures beautifully? Or
VK> so that the user can see everything as it should be?
To make it convenient to create and edit such files.
VK> The user doesn’t care what’s inside, the main thing is how it looks
VK> from the outside.
And the editor?
VK> In addition, someone will have to compose the signs.
The program. :)
VK> And the noodles are cut by a simple program that doesn’t need any extra tables
VK>.
Perhaps, perhaps..
Yours truly, Hexman/BYTEX.
