Did I say that I would punish severely for swearing at a sprinter?
I told you... they didn’t listen :). get the first swallow :)
so:
pkt reader for sprinter:
1) works under tyrdos with files from Isaevsky unzip.
And even with the old version, where the files are not multiple of the sector;
2) loads the entire package into memory (at least 640k),
then tosses (if you can call it that. Process is clear;
3) automatic formatting of the text of the letter - up to 80 characters,
words are not cut;
4) two-color quotation highlighting;
5) when you press alt-y (together) the display/non-showing will be turned on :)
kludges/sinbaev (also highlighted in color, if enabled)
6) the version is very crude, written with a clear disregard
for BIOS restrictions, therefore it can be horribly buggy, but I haven’t seen
it yet.
7) disk and other errors are not tracked. see point 6.
8) Limitations: the number of letters in a package is no more than 2304, the number of lines in a letter is no more than 1000, the length of the letter is no more than 32k.
If the letter is longer, then the first 32k will appear, and the frame
will be repainted red - a warning.
9) it’s better not to slip any nasty stuff in - otherwise I’ll check
for .pkt version :)
10) scrolling on a 80*32 single-frame screen, control -
cursors, page up/down, left-right - scroll through letters.
The current letter number and their full number are shown in
the last line of the header
wishes, suggestions, beer,roach?
zy. I'll go through the list of letters... if I have time... :)
before the infestation wears off :)
From Andrey Isaev → To All 29 November 1998
Once on 28 Nov 98 at 18:51:45 a conflict occurred
Renat Mamedov and All were arguing about the topic the hour of reckoning has come
I decided to continue this dialogue:
RM> did I say that I would punish cruelly for swearing at a sprinter?
RM> I said... they didn’t listen :). get the first sign :)
Can you tell us about your impressions of the sprinter AY? ;)
Andrey was with you.
