Greetings, Vladimir!
VK>>> What subzh can be screwed to the spec?
VK>>> Any EPSON standard? Or a special one?
Any Epson compatible. Lizhby it had a parallel interface
CENTRONICS.
RZ>> Yes, it seems like any EPSON (or compatible with it). I
RZ>> Russian MC6313 (Good, almost completely ESON compatible
RZ>> printer).
RZ>> What kind of interface will you make? Serial or
RZ>>parallel? (I have a parallel one, it seems easier)
VK> I don’t know. I have a Pentagon 128 with a built-in controller. A
VK> I don’t know which one it is.
Probably ZX LPRINT III. There it is connected via parallel CENTRONICS or
serial RS-232TTL. HO! The serial interface is organized purely in software, i.e. The time frame is set by delays, and therefore the serial
interface is practically not applicable in this design. So it remains
parallel. Data to the printer D0, D1, D2, D3, D4, D5, D6, D7 is supplied from the
register on the Pentagon board (D55) respectively from legs 2, 5, 6, 9, 12, 15, 16,
19. The BUSY signal from the printer is supplied to leg 2 LP8 (D66). The /STROBE signal to the
printer is taken from the 6th leg of TM2 (D67).

P.S. Useful information about the printer is available in Spectrophone N9.
PPS When you connect, connect 1 leg of D65 on the compass board to ground
through the printer connector. It will giveThe controller is able to determine whether the printer is connected to the computer or not. In the diagram this signal is called /ENPR
