ZXNet echo conference «real.speccy»

From Yuri Potapov To All 18 December 2000

Konichi wa, Tigrr-san!

This is what I want to say about the subject 1.30f
It now has a couple of shortcomings

1. If you enlarge the window with the drives a little, you can insert the inscription
"SAME" or "DIFF" there and then you can switch the "Same Disk" "Different
Disks" modes to the same disk, it will be more convenient to unpack files.

Now: - A >> B -
It is necessary - A diff B -

IMHO this will be more convenient

2. The Free window hangs like a dead weight... If you unpack to another disk, then
absolutely unnecessary information
is shown about the free space on the source disk.

It is necessary that after recording a file in the Free window the free
space on the Destination disk is shown

I would like to add about unpacking the pktshek, i.e. when unpacking it, the beginning of the internal
file of at least the first 3 characters was renamed to digital ones, otherwise you have to
rename it every time so that LARA fails during tossing.

With best wishes, Sergey Kalinin.

Hi, Yuri!

Mon 18 Dec 2000, at 13:17:28 Yuri Potapov told Tigrr about PkUnzip.

There is a button ss+5, as a result of pressing which the inscription appears type:
A >> *, which means unpacking to the same disk. RTFM, however.

In fact, Tigrr's computer was inoperative for about a month. The other day
he pumped it out, but his modem is not working yet.

Bye, Yuri! Vivid^Brainwave of X-Project.

Now he is already fussing - bourgeois technology is also subject to the Soviet soldering iron
:)

If necessary, you can do it, it’s not difficult, it’s just that no one asked...

The first thing I’ll add is unpacking from a text file and descl... But it will not be soon and this is a very big grief (c)accident :)

p.s. Maybe someone can tell me why I have AG3 in the controller in the
self-oscillating (like a one-shot...) mode when the magician is pressed, it goes away?
And she can’t get out of it herself - only on/off the computer a few times...

Well, bye! Tigrr from -■Brainwave^X-Project■- tigr...@mail.ru

YP> ok, ok :))))
Well, otherwise it’s always the authors’ fault... :) I hope they’ve made a new RTFM?
About the disk full window, I mean.

How is the new version working for everyone? Bug reports to the studio! :) I know that in our city it doesn’t work on one computer, the reason is not known at all :(

YP> if you had this kind of garbage...
YP> otherwise it won’t hurt in HAM 0.2...
Well, it’s necessary, it’s necessary, just how do I read it, if it’s diff then what, the first
thing should be to ask me to insert that disk, or what? I’ll do it on two different ones, on the same one,
even more so :)

p.s. someone was going to help me with disscl - I couldn’t answer, there were glitches on the node, now everything seems to be OK.

you tell your boss that he would form normal packages for you, and
unzipe If such garbage is needed, it can only be turned off

Konichi wa, Igor-san!

Once Fri 22 Dec 2000 at 03:13:23 Igor and Yuri were arguing about the topic PkUnzip

IT> Well, it’s necessary, that’s how it should be, but how can I read it, if diff
IT> then what, should I not first
IT> ask to insert that disk, or what? On two different
IT> - I’ll do it, on the same,
IT> even more so :)
Nooo, as I wrote down the piece, so from there you need to output “Free:”[!]

IT> p.s. someone was going to help me with the answer - I couldn’t answer
IT>, there were glitches on the
IT> node, now everything seems to be OK.
uh, easily, I can throw in the source code of the overlay, or even
I’ll rewrite it just like a thread, just how to present it,
and the format itself is very simple...
identifier, directory, and data... :)

Greetings, Igor!

[Friday 22 December 2000] at [03:09:03] Igor Turashev wrote a letter to Sergey
Kalinin.
They discussed the topic "PkUnzip". Let's continue what we started...

[skip]

IT> p.s. Maybe someone can tell me why I have AG3 in the
IT> controller in a self-oscillating mode (like a
IT> monostable...) the mode goes away when the magician is pressed? And she can no longer get out of
IT> it - only on/off
IT> the computer several times...

Have you changed this AG3 and/or its piping (especially the electrolyte)? Replace. Also check its asynchronous reset pins so that they are connected where they need to be and are not dangling in the air.

I also once had a clever AG3 (also in TR-DOS) - in RND order
itself_ issued NMI on the Z80. It was cured only by replacement.

Sincerely, Felix.
