in chronological order:

summer 1999: screw running on #3d13 (XaM&JTN/4D), no file system
(trackVG93>cylinder, sectorVG93>sector, head numbers and cylhigh are used to
switch images).
winter-spring 2000: own controller screw + specific implementation
of VG93 emulation (no adaptation to the scorp/kai bus).
May-summer 2000: the screw dies along with all the software, there is no VG emulation, the controller board
goes for spare parts.
04/1/2001: new circuits are ready! The VG emulator is adapted to the bus, due toWith new
technical solutions, it may not all work right away.
January 2002: there are agreements on the layout of the boards (most likely the screw controller
will be connected to the emulator board via a connector) and on printing. Software at the moment - 0.
In general, this topic worries me less and less ;(, and perhaps in the end
nothing will work out. In the meantime, the plans are as follows: (only after the controller
appears to me) write minidos, file systems - MSDOS FAT16 and CD (ISO
like some kind), there will be support for TRD, FDI,... images, standard
functions for working with files.

Yesterday, from a conversation with Mr. Baze/3SC, I learned the following: the SFS file system has existed for several years (by BusySoft), it is designed for the fd interface
mb02, and in the near future Busy plans to write support for a screw using the same system. Some (Zilog, Baze,...) bourgeoisie do not like being tied to an incompatible system and they do. they want to make their own controller and support
FAT16. So let's think...

p.s. The schemes, as I have already written many times, will not be distributed until there is a really working device with a minimum amount of software. I hope they will not let you down.
