OUT_OF_TZX

ZXNet echo conference «real.speccy»

From Alexey Voskresensky To All 9 June 2003

Glad to see you again, All!

On Saturday, June 07, 2003, at exactly 16:47:00, the connection unexpectedly
was interrupted. I miraculously managed to detect only the half-strangled:
-"TZX2TAPE"...

SY>> It seems that Pyshkin has already been born, but the promised program is not visible in the echo
SY>>...

VC> they are probably WRITING it now ;)

Yes, it is ready! It lies assembled, waiting in the wings.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I’m not throwing it away just because I’m currently writing documentation and
several memory drivers (overlays) for some cars.

Good luck! Las.

P.S. And one more thing: while external memory drivers are written for Scorp-256;
Kay-256; Kay-1024; Pent-128; Pent-256, Pent-512 (pentagons: 6.7 bits each #7ffd)
What machines should I write drivers for?
Either give information on the memory ports, or write them yourself
(the driver is loaded from disk, description of the driver structure
in the help file)...

Scorpion GMX 2 Mb

AV> Either give information on the memory ports, or write it yourself

Here you go:

ports are standard like Scorpio 256. For memory addressing
over 256 kilos, the three least significant bits of the #dffd port are used as on
Profi.

Too late. There will be no _built-in_ firewood for GMX. There will be an overlay.

Good luck!

Uh-huh. I pulled out the information a little earlier from the Alasmov firewood.

Scorpio-2048:

7ffd bits 0,1,2,5,6,7
1ffd bits 4

Scorpio-512:

7ffd bits 0,1,2
1ffd bits 4,6,7

and other options...

There are still Sprinter...

VK> PROFI come in 768, 384 kb and who the hell knows which ones

Starting from version 4, there cannot be pros below 512 kb (they are immediately on the board) +
2 empty lines. The main problem is that the pages may not be in order, but may have spaces. But these are trifles.

With respect, Alexey.

Are there programs, information on it? I am urgently (and have been looking for a long time) a couple of programs and the necessary

information on the hard drive and extended palette. This is for starters.

they wrote a lot about the screw (I mean ide commands), but about the rest - all
ports are described in the manual

There are ports, but we need information about its operation in SPM. Where is the information about it,
how to switch sections, how to get information about them, if there are special
commands for it in Bios, how to work with two screws (I can’t do it,
only one is visible), etc.
