Look at THEIR games, and look at OURS. We almost have cults regarding games, but with them I went and gave away the cartridge without any remorse. Yes, and you
also chose Spec, not Sega.

Yeah... And then shell out thousands of dollars for software... Or at the local market
you saw a hacked version of the CD "Super-duper building security: cameras, elevators, toilets, etc." Ifor example no. Okay, a more real example. In Odessa, at the Main Post Office (the most important post office in Odessa), there is a Spectrum in the main hall and it is responsible for the digital display on which there is a clock, weather and other crap... Made by our Odessa company. And now she does this, although she no longer produces Spectrums as such. :(

What I mean is that the local specialists simply won’t know which way to even
approach such a security unit. And hacking even more so. And this, IMHO, is the main thing in
such systems.
AS>> I already need another platform... Different from
AS>> Spectrum...
DL> I’m gladfor you.
Me too. But for the rest, no. Throwing away the spec and sitting behind the pisyuk yelling: Spectrum
rules, IMHO this is stupid... (nothing personal)
AS>> PS: Spectrum does not die... It’s us who are burying it alive
AS>>...
DL> no. this is a historical inevitability. it will remain -
DL> a wonderful place for dems and other zyuleks.
What the hell is historical inevitability???? Everything that is done in this world is done by people! And if the platform dies, then it does not die on its own, but
people simply abandon it - and then bury it accordingly!
AS>> zyzy: after reading the characteristics of the eZ80, I shuddered just at the

Why? Besides, the eZ80 is still worse than stumps? And accordingly does not reach the
level?
AS>> A GREAT computer, I will give any money for it... Someone

DL> it's you ;)
Yes! Of course, I am not great enough to create everything and everyone, but as needed I
will be able to do what I need. And then I won’t care that I’m the only one sitting on a similar car - the rest don’tthey wanted and that’s their problem, I certainly won’t drag them down. For me it will be Speck, but grown up...

Well, I also saw, only a long time ago, on cable Spectrums with iS-DOS
were used for teletext. And in one city in Ukraine (Nezhin)
the FOBOS TV channel still has a spectrum for teletext...

A: For this you need a sledgehammer and a laptop.
Q: And... then what?
A: You go to the ATM, break it with a sledgehammer and take
the money and quickly get out of there.
Q: Why do I need a laptop?
A: A: A what kind of hacker are you without a laptop!

who would help with this ;) I can’t lift it, definitely. We have
no assistants in St. Petersburg and are not expected to do so :(
I have so many new interesting things to do that I have no time at all :(
Most of my time is consumed by work, and what is left I try to use to learn
something new and interesting. Spectrum is not great in this regard - I know it
thoroughly ;)
All the best.

And I need this one storm? MA80 is on the PC, ZXASM on the Spectrum and okay...
If only someone would take on the Fido software complex on the Spectrum, at least for isdos,
at least for CP/M... We need a mailer (I don’t like everything about Dickie),
a full-fledged echo processor, an editor - that would be the minimum. slightly
extended the life of the spectrum among fidoshniks.

So that others can write bad things on it? :-)

I still need it, and mostly not for me :(
KF> MA80 is on the PC, ZXASM on the Spectrum and
KF> okay...
MA80 - IMHO, inconvenient for debugging (I don’t know the details about it).
ZXASM twitches, and the text input there is incorrect :-)
Here is Storm in the emulator - rules, it’s even framed there ;) and at the same time the mail
swings.

DL> MA80 - IMHO, inconvenient for debugging (I don’t know details about it).
MA80 is as convenient as possible, especially for large projects, there are features for
this. Plus it generates a symbol table for the debugger, only
the debugger spits at it and says that it is a demo version (SPM).
DL> ZXASM twitches, and the text input there is incorrect :-)
What's the difference? Everything on your PC is twitching...
Entering text there is more correct - text, but in the storm it is more
reminiscent of BASIC-48. It’s not difficult for me to press an extra button or wait
while it’s assembled, I write much longer.
DL> Storm in the emulator rules, it’s even frame-based ;) and in parallel
DL> the mail is downloading.
On the PC it’s more logical to use programs for the PC. Yes, and they are clearly better,
but there is no need to compare with Mednogogov’s Asm, it’s more glitched than the
storm...

the windows move smoothly ;) and the Spectrum hardly twitches in the emulator.

Damn, for example, when I saw Storm 1.5 years ago, I
got hooked on it and will never switch to another, and I’m
not the only one, Lord, and therefore the question of necessity
is removed.
KF> Well, forget about it.
I remember DL promised to finish it, so you have to answer for your words
and if you can’t do it, At least he didn’t deceive people.

There are a lot of echo assemblers on the offtopic site.
And scrolling can be done not in a frame, but 10 times faster - it just depends on
the speed of the keyboard. Well, why such torment with all sorts of
storms?
