From Aleksandr Majorov To All 25 June 1998

Hello, Roman!
[ ]
RM> Well, I can’t say anything about you personally. In general, a lot
can be
RM> hooked onto this port. For example, I have made a 512*192pix by V.M.G. mode - on it, bit
1.

AM>> We don’t have those bells and whistles that you hang on this
AM>> port...
AM>> and besides, we have more accepted the method of not soldering
AM>> microchips on the computer, but sticking a scarf into connector...

RM> This is a personal matter for everyone. Creativity. And it’s very convenient to stick scarves into the PC.

no, not just in the pussy...
A simple example: a person’s XTR dies, he just takes it out
and takes it for repairs...
So what? Fix it yourself? ;-)))

As for the extended screen, it looks like only two people made it...
And I’m not sure about the second one...
I just saw two schemes: for a yellow scorpion and for a green one...
But everyone is either lazy or doesn’t need it...

Well, that’s all

Hello, Roman!

[ ]
RM>> Once in Format I saw your initials under the mmd driver.
RM>> It seemed to be written for Hayes too... How was the process???
...
AM>> And then I got tired of it... And all the data was lost...

RM> It's a pity.

maybe it will come to mind in the summer thinking, maybe I’ll get busy...
fortunately there’s almost no work right now, and in the room (at work)
there’s a more or less free three-ruble note...

AM>> I’m somehow not interested in haes _right now_, I’m still too lazy
AM>> to rip it out of my pussy, it’s still not necessary...

RM> And so that it’s FTN-compatible you can do?

_ООО_ - what? Right now I’m not doing anything for chaos...

and besides, if I do, it will be in the image and
likeness of MMD 4.00, where you program its operation yourself...
For example, right now you can relatively easily set up FTN on a Vicom...

Although IMHO the dialer/myler has
little relation to the data format...

That’s just the problem with Z-modemom - I’m still too lazy understand
its transmission protocol... Although there are documents...

Hello, Roman!

RM>> There is no difference between Penta and Scorp.
RM>> It is not tailored for a specific type of computer.

AM>> wow! but with us it’s sharpened, and therefore there’s no need for mikruh...
RM> And this is a “+” in your opinion? ^^^^^^^ :) IMHO - "-"!
RM> Well, it’s good that you don’t need any micro devices anymore.

this is “+” _only_ for a scorpion!
to connect _only_ to it!

AM>> sorry, port #EFF7 - what kind of universal is this?

RM> So I said “universal”, not "standard"! Although many
RM> have already made it, and you can consider it standard, but the fact that there is nothing on it in
your
RM> computer... you probably consider port #1FFD standard? And I don't have anything
RM> on it! ;)

port #1FFD is standard _only_ for Scorpio!
if you don’t have Scorpio, then it is not a standard for you,
but IMHO it’s worth taking its presence into account when writing software...
Just like I need to take into account the presence of port #EFF7...

[ ]
RM> Well, the fact that the data in hours falls within the acceptable ranges of values,
more does not
RM> mean that the clock is there, running, and running correctly!
RM> In any case, control is desirable.

the presence of the #AA byte also does not mean anything...
and I wonder, will control on #AA or full control give the
lowest percentage of errors?;-))

Oh! Got it! We check the clock registers, wait 5 seconds, if the clock readings have changed, and changed correctly - there is a clock! ;-)))

AM>> Or do you use time only for
AM>> its substitution in the mail editor?

RM> For now, yes! :) We don’t have MMD for chaos! ;)

can’t you fix the ZED under the watch?

Greetings, Renat!

AM>> The 13th leg on the pussy itself, from where the chips were torn out,
AM>> was attached to the ground!
AM>> And I once asked the people, that’s how it happened once
AM>> a car with a dead battery was spotted...
AM>> IMHO there is a recharger...

RM> Well, offtopic is not an indicator in terms of coolness. Maybe
RM> they saved on the diode :) But if so, then it’s clear.

this is where the indicator is.
Because the chips were originally made, IMHO, for him, taking into account his characteristics.
In addition, the watch is given a kind of “guarantee” that it will
work for 10 years, if I’m not mistaken.
It’s unlikely that there’s _that_ battery...

[ ]

AM>> the process was interrupted because the person who had chaos at the time

I don’t care. You can solder it with MGTF. You try to throw your

The XTR will fall off.

When Hayes dies, you go and buy a new one. this is on PeC.
And XTR can be designed so as to die. ;-)
Here's my wiki - it hasn't died yet, and Lomov was shouting that after
the first call :-/ This is advertising, and it's free at that.
Think, what's the point in buying something for the Spectrum?
it's at least not reasonable, because for the same money
you can buy a 286 with great capabilities. But tinkering
with crooked pens is very interesting.

[...]

AM> As for the extended screen, it looks like only two people made it...

It was made by AT LEAST 3 people. And it’s already working.

AM> I just saw two schemes: for yellow scorpion and for green...

Unfortunately, both schemes are far from perfect, especially for green.
And don’t forget that a lot of people use TVs
instead of monitors, and even through secam/pal encoders. And 64 letters in a line
through secam or pal - this is something very colorful. And in 90% of TVs
64 characters are difficult to see, and the extended mode is simply not visible
because there are about 800 dots in a _full_ line. On a montora
like WTC-I don’t know_which letter _poor_ are distinguished. Those. ForTo fully use the mode, you need a black and white or a good color monitor like _imported_.

AM> But everyone is either lazy or doesn’t need it...

I know a few more people who want to, but they are afraid to break
their computers. And he correctly noted that there is no software. And that means
this regime is needed like a fish needs a bicycle. I only need it in melon :-(
But this is a big [+]. Do you know how cool screensavers from
BBS look with 64 letters per line? It’s better not to scrimp.

AM> the presence of the #AA byte also doesn’t mean anything...

It says that there is a clock, and, at least in one cell,
the information is not broken. You can, in principle, control cell
9 by tinkering with the driver once a year.

AM> and I wonder whether control on #AA or full control

You can only do complete control in person, by looking at
the clock on your hand and the calendar on the wall. ;)

well, at least it’s something! and #AA will only say that in this
cell the CMOS is not damaged, but is it ticking...

Although on the other hand, during the year of work, the CMOS
didn’t get up or fly off on its own, so
control on #AA will probably be enough...

You will only need a program that, without any
control on #AA, gets into the clock and sets it...
Otherwise I bought I set the clock, but the programs don’t see it!

Most likely it is being recharged. Otherwise, how can a mikruha from 5 years ago still work? Well, it’s not a battery from a tank there!

Or maybe anomalous phenomena combined with black magic.

Well, if the software requires this value to be there, where will you go
write it down. :) Especially if the installer program will do this automatically.

You can. But if there’s a second here, there’s two... a lot will add up.
