SZ>>>> Normal machines that at least somewhat resemble
SZ>>>> a branded machine have the specified port. :)
AM>>> In Russia this port is outlawed. I have it
SZ>> imho it’s not worth being proud of... :( That’s why we suffer
SZ>> sometimes, because the programs are tailored to someone’s memory.
AM>>> I used to be on scorpion,
SZ>> how was it? Why did you (or Arc) tear off this #ff??? Did he
SZ>> get in the way? I
>that’s crap #ff, it only interferes, especially in programs that
>the mouse is not detected correctly...
And these are crooked hands of coders :) In some programs it is not buggy. Can't the rest of us take a peek? is this on a platform where every second hacker is? ;)
SZ>> I even tried to use it
SZ>> somehow. :) It's been a long time, really.
>me too, and even successfully;) (on the pros)
:)
AM>>> however, either when installing CMOS, or when expanding
SZ>> ??? Should I put SMUC?
>but I can’t give him a smuk, he extinguished his professional memory
Well, he was in vain. :) Useful thing.
AM>>> memory up to a meter Arc unsoldered it.
SZ>> Lawlessness again on #7ffd? I don’t understand why you
SZ>> need so much memory!? 256Kb is through the roof for me. When copying

SZ>>... It just jumped out at me. ;)
>well, you said it! You have a screw!
Well, yes. :) I’m not hiding it.
> but without a screw and with 256kb (I’m not talking about 128)
128 is not enough. :) 256 Just right. And no more. And I started with a yellow
scorpion without any SMUCs. And I never felt short of memory. :) But
I think to each his own.
>you know how fun it is these days (not for gamers of course...)
I know. I can’t work on bare pentagons... Although here again it’s a matter of habit.

Now I do too. MadROM 4eva !:)

SZ>> the others can’t spy or what? is this on

IT> Well, I wouldn’t say that at all. If someone had broken Alcatraz or
IT> speedlock, then he would have been proud to be a hacker.
And I didn’t mean myself. But nevertheless, I can accurately determine whether there is a mouse on the computer or not. Moreover, this does not depend on the presence of some ports, such as
#ff, as they said here.
IT> Although the word hacker now
IT> is undergoing several changes
IT> and for “us” it is a little different than for “them”.
What “we” call hacking, “they” call cracking. Are you talking about this?
Although I really like the idea about the hacker Oldman, which he expressed in
the application to OnLine - Best.

SZ> But how can I read at 256K? ;) Yes, and at first I didn’t have
SZ> SMUC on the yellow scorpion. 2 drives are enough for this.
I read from a RAM disk, when .pkt takes up >1,635k disks, can you do this on a 256m
read from a RAM disk? Constant dotossings are so annoying.
SZ> But my disk database occupies up to 2300 sectors and I work with it just fine
SZ>.
SZ> :) you are confusing something.
You have a screw, and you are confusing it.

IT> I bet you can’t detect the presence of a mouse on a computer called
IT> Delta-C128?
And I will ;)
IT> There you can read from the mouse ports... garbage,
It’s not only there and not really garbage.
First of all, you need to synchronize via HLT (in the case of an attributes port),
secondly, look at the correctness of what is read from the button port, thirdly,
make sure that the values do not change for 30,000...300,000 clock cycles (although it is necessary that
the user does not touch the mouse at this moment).
Even when synchronizing via HLT, take into account that on some computers the attributes port
works only at the moment of drawing the screen, and during the curb - 0
comes from there. Accordingly, you need to repeat one cycle of the subroutine so much that
this does not interfere.

Tiger, don’t be embarrassed. ;-)
I have 128K and no screw, but somehow I manage. Just a pkt on one disk
and a database on another.
Regards, Dmitriy.
