ZXNet echo conference «real.speccy»
From Moderator of REAL SPECCY → To All 2 November 1998
Sooo... I look - there is a lull here... We are taking measures...
From today until the first of December, all rules have been canceled. Everyone is free
to express whatever they want, post whatever they want, and... honor the moderator for everything
crusts :)
Any suggestions on the echo rules are ACCEPTED (for consideration, of course).
After November 30, everything falls into place, the rules are adjusted (slightly:).
The only rule for this period is HAVE A CONSCIENCE.

Upload new content without your permission if the volume does not exceed the Nth number of kB.
And also, in my opinion, it seems to me that the rules here are much stricter than in
ZX.SPECTRUM. If you soften them a little, then people will come here too.

This is always possible. ;-)~

When everything is possible, it’s not interesting. There was a case in zkhnet: they created an echo FLAME.ZX
where you could scold whoever you want and however you want and finally do whatever you want - the echo
failed after a week, although the first couple of days there were a lot of letters, but mostly -
show off... :)
Happy, Moderator. It was nice talking.

It’s just that with the arrival of Spectrum in FIDO, all topics come down to this.
And still not software that would AT LEAST work well. In written programs, a glitch sits on a glitch and drives the glitch. But several versions of the program are released per week. Now have time to set them up. And when you set it up, it turns out that this version is even worse than the previous ones. And there is simply no point in writing about the same latrines for everyone. It’s enough to write to just one person.
And the rest follow the development of events and stick their heads out
only when it’s absolutely necessary.
Well, before taking such measures, it was necessary to throw out a cry,
like, respond, those who have signed up. Otherwise, right now, filter empty
chatter from normal information.
MoRS> From today until the first of December, all
MoRS> rules have been canceled.
Oh, it wouldn’t be necessary... What kind of traffic will there be here!!! B~-[ ]
Especially where REAL.SPECCY doesn't go very well. :(
MoRS> Everyone is free

Well, what can I say - the moderator is like a moderator...

Pretty braveact. Not every moderator is capable of this - to cancel the rules and listen to what everyone else thinks about him
and especially those who received punishment from him
Oh, I feel like they are throwing out more than useful
information here. It’s a pity.

let the people watch, and at the same time the traffic will increase :)
ES> the moderator has canceled all the rules for now! And why it’s silent - I don’t understand :-( ,

There is something to discuss, for example, my computer crashed, I threw a letter here
but it was dull, I don’t believe that there are no iron workers here, at least some advice
could be given :)
From Konstantin Budnikov → To All 13 November 1998
They asked me to throw it into the Spectrum echoes. If off topic - moderator, sorry.
=== Cut ===
We need someone who could:
1) connect an IBM keyboard to the Spectrum, and the Spectrum
should be ULA-based. Some loss of compatibility is not significant.
2) modify the character generator to display Russian letters under cp866
3) write or adapt a viewer for unpacking and viewing incoming
messages under the new character generator.
Of course, the work is paid.
