@ SMT (the author of the US emulator) looked at the list of bugs from UnrealSpeccy v0.21b5
bugslist and provided a detailed commentary on each bug! In addition, I made a
bugfix for two list bugs number 8 and 15. So, UnrealSpeccy v0.21b5 bugslist +
SMT comment + fixes for bugs 5, 8 and 15 - all in one archive!

is designed for playing music in ProTracker format and more. To
upload Mouzons into the device's Flash memory, the native (real)

(strange, but I had never seen this Code Masters toy before),

@ Finally, thanks to KYV^3umpf, I have a more or less complete one version of the only MOD editor for General Sound! Riff Tracker v4.19 + help +
X-Copy (MS-DOS 2 TR-DOS) by STS/Volga Soft, crack by Triumph. Let me remind you that
Riff Tracker only understands disks in MS-DOS format, to run this
editor under UnrealSpeccy you need to set low-level GS emulation, i.e.
GSTYPE=Z80

@ Vortex Tracker alpha6 from Sergei Bulba is a music editor for Win in the
Pro Tracker 3 format. The built-in converter allows you to download music from almost all
known trackers on the ZX. A pack of modules for testing the editor is attached.
@ And the UnrealSpeccy v0.21b5 bugslist has been updated once again. Added one (number 16)

Hobeta format. By tradition, it is supplied together with other utilities from HalfElf,

The latest version of TeleDisk Converter v0.11 from Sergei Erokhin. This is a converter from
TD0 to FDI or TRD format. Although the program is from 1999, the latest version for some reason
hasn't gained distribution.

@ As you know, the best Speccy emulator today - UnrealSpeccy
v0.21b5. But it also contained a number of errors (bugs). The author,
SMT, is still away from the Internet and it is difficult for him to respond to letters.
So I decided to create an UnrealSpeccy bugslist, which I intend to bring to SMT by all available

@ Alone Coder created AC Edit v0.64 - one of the best text editors for the ZX.
By the way, it comes with the latest version of Stealth Monitor v5.3lite with

@ Rare soft from Omega Hackers Group! Multi Studio v2.0p - editor of tricolor pictures. UltraSonic v2.11/2.12 - digital music editor for
Sounddrive/Covox. At one time, both warezes were sold for money and with protection. Both programs use tricky disk drivers, so for normal
launch from a US emulator you will need to uncheck the No delays checkbox in the

@ Video Studio v0.1 from Coders Academy is designed for creating Speccy
videos! (up to 512 frames with the abilitycompression). With
this version you can try to transfer your protected disks to UDI
format, which supports almost all types of protection! As they say, test
this program and give feedback to the author!
@ Some update of the toy database - 64 items have been added! See detailed
list HERE. This included the latest releases of Slider/BrokImSoft, as well as
a large selection of versions for 1997 from Universe Software, and something else.
@ In September, new Speccy emulators for Win were released. All of them are Western and
without TR-DOS support, but I still recommend that those interested familiarize themselves with THIS
plate, where there are 4 fresh emulators and a few words are written about each.

intended for Scorpion 256 and Soundrive. It was made back in 1997, but never gained distribution... The tracker comes with 2 discs of digital music.

@ As SMT indicated, 'the latest version this year' UnrealSpeccy v0.21b5. The best of
the best Speccy emulator - download because you won't get it anywhere else (today ;)
Sending bugs and letters to the author (if you have an email ;) is not yet recommended due to
lack of Internet... Among the innovations - the emulator is already supplied in 3 versions
- Lite for the weakest computers, plus versions for Pentium MMX and for P2+, removed
all inserts on ASM in the Z80 engine (pure C++ remained), 4 bugs were fixed, etc.
@ I decorated with a ZX sign the results and all the work from the recently held
Paradox'2oo2 Demoparty in Rostov. Watch HERE.

@ Literally today SMT released a new version of UnrealSpeccy v0.21beta4 !!! Today this is the best ZX Spectrum emulator! The video subsystem has been significantly rewritten (you'll have to get used to it a little, because the video settings, if I'm not lying, are the most flexible and powerful of all the win zx emulators I know), support for PROFI.ROM and the extended Profi screen has been added! Download the updated version of ROMS (+
profi) HERE. Pentagon Service Rom has appeared, the author of which is also SMT
(documentation attached). Those who like to test CP/M Profi can download
CPM.UDI (Thx 2 Alex Makeev 4 cp/m file!). A new tab has appeared in the settings
-port #EFF7. Plus a whole bunch of bugfixes and updates, among which the coolest one is the new Anti-64 filter. It is designed to convert
unreadable 4x8 font from the newfangled ZX press to 8x8/8x16 font. This is just some kind of rulez! ;) You take Body, Heresy and other newspapers and read them with
a beautiful font.Naturally, only fonts known to the emulator are supported, and judging by the sources (they are attached), there are as many as 13 of them! Everyone download the emulator and have fun! ;)
Ah! I also forgot to say - exit to the emulator settings using ALT-F1. (F1 - help with
keys now)
@ Sergey Bulba continues to improve his Vortex Tracker II alpha 4! This is
a music editor for Win format Pro Tracker 3. The editor comes with a
detailed description of PT3!

@ I accomplished a heroic feat - I downloaded as many as 4 mega RealSpectrum emulators of the new
version! ;) The Ramsoft group, these perverts, have already released 6 new versions of the RealSpectrum Beta 13 v0.96.16 emulator... 3 versions each for DOS and Win... Here it is - RealSpectrum DOS K6,K7; RealSpectrum DOS P1-MMX; RealSpectrum DOS P2,P3,P4;

The version for Win is being released for the first time, but according to the authors, this is a simple
compilation of the Dos version for Win. The real Win version will be released a little later. Under XP
this version slows down (sound) and does not switch to full screen (at least for me). Even in the Win version, low-level incompatible
procedures have been thrown out - working with real disks, tapes andetc. I haven't noticed any interesting
updates...

Snake has also been released. Problems under WinXP are similar to those described above. We wish the author to quickly support
Pentagon and TR-DOS ;)

@ Update of the Emulators section.
James McKay pleased the emulator community with the release of his Speccy
emulator under DOS - X128 v0.94! As they say, not even three years have passed, but the release is ready ;)
There are a lot of updates, but the most important thing (for me) is that support for my
SCL format has been added :), and the emulsion has also begun to understand FDI, FDD and HoBeta. New support for long names under Win95/98. The unpleasant thing is that the emulator does not work under WinXP (moreover, for the first time in six months I managed to fatally crash XP with this emulsion - wow!!!). From old memories, I note that the emulator is quite
fast, because... I once worked at 100% speed on a 486DX4-100. To start, you no longer need DOS4GW, as before. We need ROMZ.
@ A new ZX emulator for Win - Klive v1.0 from Steve Snake has also been released. Unfortunately, there is neither Pentagon nor TR-DOS in it. (Maybe someone
remembers the Genesis (Sega) KGen emulator from the same author?)The emulator
is notable for the fact that it is written in assembler, which, you see, is very
a rarity these days! I didn’t like the fact that under WinXP this emulsion did not switch to FullScreen, and there was also a crooked AY sound. For some reason, these problems
were not observed under Win98... 100% speed is declared on P75+
@ A ZX emulator for Win Espectrum v0.6 from Javier Chokano was also released. It already
has Pentagon emulation and you can even go to the TR-DOS menu, but there is no
support for TR-DOS disks yet. There were no problems under WinXP. However, I was alarmed by the fact that the first toy taken at random, Prison Riot 128.tzx, froze at the end of loading. And this is a more or less pleasant emulator, although it takes up
more mega in the archive.
@ ra_id.mayhem just a huge amount of work has been done as a result of which you
can download Turtles Dreams v 1.9! This is nothing more than a list of ALL past
DemoParty for ZX with a listing of ALL works!! There are as many as 37(!) pieces...
Every scener simply must have this document!
