Immediately click on RESET, All!

If a real commander had directories with long names and without
stupid restrictions
of any kind (such as 128 files in a directory or a name of 8 characters), then it would be possible
to write
a plugin for the pc<->zx link.

For some reason I don’t understand you. What kind of disk system is this with more than 128
files and long names? This is clearly not TR-DOS or even iS-DOS. Then what kind of commander is this? What is it for? Your thought is not clear at all...

run NortonCommander from the screw where there are long names, find one
of them, look at it and throw out your thought :)

after all, no one has canceled the conversion of long names.

Sincerely, Vadim.

“Short names” do not exist in reality at all.
They exist only inside the dosemulator and on FAT.
