ZXNet echo conference «real.speccy»

From Andrey Isaev To All 24 November 1998

Hello, -=All=- !

Subject of how to put a completely Pnevsky int on the profik, the bug that was recently
thrown into ZX.SPECTRUM should not be offered because the position of the int and the clocks there are very close to
the stump, but the int is still slightly moved along X, on the test it looks something like this:

==========================|||||||||========================= int with that
firmware
============||||||||||========= Pnevsky int

Well, all the cartoons and border effects are also a little crazy.

Andrey was with you.

How are you, Andrey?

I could be wrong, of course, but there was some article in Oberon #3.

With respect, Alex Noman.

Subject, on boards version 5.02 it is possible to achieve synchronization with
Pnevsky int by replacing the RFK firmware or something else?
And in general, does such firmware exist or maybe someone was going to implement it?

Greetings, Alex

Once on 27 Nov 98 at 12:04:10 there was a conflict
Alex Noman and Andrey Isaev were arguing about the topic, who knows?
I decided to continue this dialogue:

Is this article here or in the soap?

AN> * Origin: Oberon station (2:5057/18.21)
^^^^^^ don’t say that no :)

Yes, it exists and I think I have it, I’m not sure if it’s for the fifth boards, but
since personnel and personnel are formed there separately lowercase pulses, we can
assume that this is specifically for fives, should we throw it here?

A week ago I left all the articles from Arr #3. :( I didn’t think that they would be useful. Now
the OBR5 archive lives there.

OP said that this was an option for boards of 3 versions. If memory serves, it all
came down to cutting roads and throwing a couple of wires.

ChungSoftware used to do this. Now, apparently, they are changing the firmware on the PC.

Aha! Plizz! If possible... I'm dying without multicolors :((

We know... we know... Kiril Gromov...
And here I found one of his notes about the firmware:

"..."Fifth" version The board brought me a very pleasant surprise. Due to the fact that WAIT signals from the video controller are generated in the processor circuit, the result is perfect synchronization. I have never seen anything like this before! In all the “critical” programs, ALL border effects are COMPLETELY the same, ALL MULTICOLORs work, and the famous SHOCK MEGADEMO works so perfectly that I sat spellbound for minutes. five, not believing what was happening. Apparently, this was due to the fact that the asynchronous circuitry used in the latest version, in SPECTRUM mode, made it possible to achieve complete emulation of the “opaque” bus of the proprietary ZX SPECTRUM. All this gives me the right to say that today “PROFI” version 5.03 is the most successful and
compatible model of a commercially produced computer. Naturally, owners of already
purchased boards of all versions cancontact me for modifications to their
computer...."

Gromov Kirill (c) CHUNG Software (FFC)
He also writes there that he has already developed the RFK firmware "SAM14CS" for versions
of boards 5.xx

2All: has anyone seen it? Plizzzzzzzzzz if you have it!

P.S. but here it confuses me the phrase "... full emulation of the "opaque" tire
_branded_ ZX SPECTRUM...", but our standard is Pentagon :(
