From Alexey Ivanov To All 27 July 1998

Hi All!

They sent me a new tosser editor from KVA!
An analogue of ZEDa, but cooler! Supports multi-node and pointing. Archive 24 Kb.

You try it. Especially with a resolution of 512 pixels.

ps/ Report and systematize all glitches;) There is a month
for beta testing :)

KF> or what?

And I decided to try it. :)
Yesterday I scribbled one letter in this Lariska, but didn’t dare send it. Somehow the letter “cap” seemed suspicious to me.
But today I made up my mind. :)

The main thing: I was especially pleasantly surprised by the presence of the 512*192pix mode, cool! oh!
It’s hard to constantly work in this mode with 80 characters in a line.
It was imperative to make _64_characters_ of the thickened 8*8 font in this mode
and be able to quickly, at any time, switch from 64 * 8*8 to 80 * 6*8 and
back!

Very interesting setup!

Convenient to install a pkt disk A, and mail-disk D (ramdisk) with TR-DOS 5.12f - the editor works very quickly then! (though I haven’t tried it any other way :)

Actually, I have a lot of comments here, it’s impossible to dump them all at once.
The editor itself is not bad, line-by-line scrolling is just slow. A! I really
didn't like some continuation of auto-repeat after releasing the key! -
the necessary lines are deleted! :)

I also didn’t like the tosser. V0.3 for ZED by E.Milun will be faster. And this
doesn't process some emails! It's rare, but it does exist!

Let's see further.

All the best.
With respect, Roman.

why the hell I’ll write a program for renaming files with the extension C. to E... but
probably I’ll still do something else firstly:
1. It’s already possible to make a load of thirty-thirteen in Lara’s besik.
2. The process of reading mail works very well... I explain that all the letters are sweated
recorded on the same disk as with Lara and then the letters are read with great
slowness, especially if the A.Plus disk is wasting a lot of space on A.
it will generally be better if the author removes this crap.
3. You can't run Lara from disk D> because it's a turboloader.

but in general I really liked Lara... I really fell in love:)

For now I have one big glitch - it doesn’t want to drain my mail
in any form. Both on one disk and on different ones. Both from a screw and from a floppy disk... When working with a floppy disk, the
directory was processed incorrectly, the "post.p" file was written to the very beginning, although there were already
files on the disk...

AA> pps/ By the way, he seems to have created node software, and even

Cool!!!
And the soaper who responds to incoming calls, did that too?

With that, Arseniy, let me say goodbye.

Give it! Huh?

From Kirill Frolov To All 2 August 1998

There is already one glitch. He doesn't want to show some letters. :-(
I can give you a package for experimenting with it.

And one thing was done poorly there -
too much is allocated to all sorts of from, tu, time, subject...
As many as 9 lines! It will be too much. If you wish, you can condense it to 6
and then more useful information (text of letters) will fit in.

something like this:

-----------------------------------------------------------
Vasily Chapaev 500:812/99.97 02-August-1998 Friday
Area : REAL.SPECCY 01-August-1998 Saturday
From : Vasja Pupkin 500:812/99.99
To : Fedia Glupkin 500:812/99.98
Subj : Re: y I have a thought and I will think about it.

here is the text of the letter. ^^^^^ the header is 5 lines
Vasily Chapaev - username 02-Aug. - current date
01-Aug. - date of writing the letter.

--- LARA weighing 1.5 tons
* Origin: and the genie screams (500:812/99.99)
SEEN BY: 812/99.00

LAT Some Information... All:155 Read: 115 Left: 40
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Last 6th line.

It would also be nice to have the option shinbai watch.

From Roman Milukov To All 3 August 1998

The main glitch is why I actually use ZED again - LARA
wrongly collects some letters in packages! Moreover, the percentage is very significant; in one package, almost half of the letters were not processed. Or rather, they are processed, but the body
of the letter itself is thrown out (probably, there is something in the caps
before the greetings, which are assigned when a letter passes through the Internet gates, which LARA mistakes for kludges).

Wait, today I found a terrible glitch in it (in the firmware).
As soon as Sasha fixes it, I’ll throw it away.

You will laugh, but this is not in the help. Moreover, there is a suspicion that the file with the help has been chopped off. For example, in my zip archive (the one you sent) the file "lara_1_57.$W" ends with the phrase: "changes their length at
time". What kind of “pe” is I still don’t understand. :)

Good luck! Evgeny.

I, too, because of this glitch, am using ZED again.
And in LAR I noticed another glitch. It's really not fatal, but still. Sometimes when tossing with LAROY, if in the subject line, or in
another line in the header, the amount of information is more than can
fit to the right edge of the screen (for 256*192 mode), then
the information that does not fit is transferred to the next
line on the left. So after tossing the whole disk, almost nothing in the header
can be understood.

See you. Jan Zagorskikh.

Well, how...
Potossil. I started reading. Some letters look like this:
Area, From, To, Time (or whatever it is?) - everything is in place, first and last names... but instead of the letter itself there is only some time! It is taken from the fact that it is entered before the greeting on the Internet gate.
------------
19:43:26

^^^^^^^^ this is the entire body of the letter!
In principle, I can throw in a similar .pkt and what remains of it after tossing
. Just tell me where. I don't
know how to write (and what gate) to Minsk ZXNet.
