ZXNet echo conference «real.speccy»
From Roman Timofeev → To All 29 July 2001
Is it possible to somehow remove unnecessary echoes in Lara without rebuilding
the database?
In advance Thanx.
That’s all for me. Bye, Everybody!
Sincerely, Roman (aka
TimeX).

It’s not possible. Alas.
Bye, Roman.

It is possible, but not in Lara, but in the disk doctor :) At the end of the database there is a list of
arias. First comes the aka number, then the name. If you crash some
aria there and move everything, then everything works fine :)
I wish you good luck!
Sincerely, Fyodor Odegov aka FION.

Hmm. I didn’t find the number aka - it says #80, the name of the echo, #0D.

Messages end up in other echoes (except .netmail).
That’s all for me. Bye, Fyodor!

What do you mean? I don’t understand what I did?
I didn’t do anything at that moment :). Later, on the advice of Fyodor Odegov, the doctor removed the extra echoes and moved the remaining ones. It's a bummer, nothing worked out - the messages ended up in other echoes (except for .NETMAIL, of coz, which didn't move anywhere). IMHO, the only option in this case is to fill the names with spaces, which is what I did :).
That’s all for me. Bye, Yuri!

This is the 0th aka, if you write #81, then you will get the first, #82 -
the second and #83 - the third.
Bye, Roman.

Sorry, apparently I really made a mistake here:( It’s just that after
NETMAIL I have the most important echoes for me, in which I save letters, and in
subsequent letters I don’t store for a long time, so I didn’t notice such a nuance, although I have used this
method several times.
But it is convenient if you subscribe to the echo for a short time. After unsubscribing, you can
painlessly delete this echo so that it does not appear at the end of the list :)

in the database they are stored by number, so you can delete only the last echoes...
otherwise there will be glitches :)

Bye, Yuri.
