We need to fix the glitches with February of the 21st century, remove the limitation on the size of the database in
2544 sectors (I would like to have up to 4080 sectors - 256 tracks (on the ramdisk)).
Make it possible to set the Name parameter for a specific echo, just as it
is done for templates:
name'ZX.SPECTRUM Aleksey Malov
name'ZX.SPECTRUM Vivid
name
[
SU.KASCHENKO.LOCAL
RU.ANTISEMIT
]
{
Moisey Shaimovich Goltsman
Abram Ivanovich Chingachgook
}
name=Aleksey Malov
Next, it would be necessary to make sure that lowercase and uppercase letters do not differ letters in
the names eh, otherwise all sorts of idiots write echoes like:
Ru.CoOl.hAcKeR
and in the database, thanks to such craftsmen, a dozen copies of one echo are created.
I would like there to be a button like ss+T, which would mark the names of the packages being processed before tossing, because There may not be
free space on the disk to toss all the packages. It would be wonderful if they could be
deleted directly in Lare (and maybe compact the disk).
When viewing the directory and list of messages in echo, I would like to be able to page
up/page down.
In the editor - be able to copy/move/delete blocks (at least
line by line), modeinsert/overwrite.
When writing messages to disk, ask for the file name, otherwise you can get confused in these saved_xx
. When working with a catalog, it would be necessary to show at least the number
of free sectors.
Regarding the list of area codes. It can be stored in the database itself and called up as needed by some button (well, the drive head will move back and forth once, nothing bad will happen).
As for storing the database. You can do something like fat12 inside the database, i.e. so that
messages are stored in fragmented form (then there will be no problems with
the need to compact it). To do this, you only need 4096*1.5=6144=24 sectors
at the very beginning of the database file.
Now, if someone does at least part of what I wrote here, then this
product can safely be called Lara Croft 5.x. ;)
Bye, Ilya.

The most important thing is to correct the format of the output pkt.
At the end of the file there should be 3x00, not 2x00.
Because of this, for example, fastecho and ftrack swear at them...
KVA said that it was corrected, and will release the next version, but it never came out...

So what? I can get any source codes to order within a week. =) Not for nothing, ZXNet: 500:8462/1 ~/ <~ http://zs80.chat.ru/
I have non-proprietary sources NAM v0.2x & v0.3 ;) And also ZX Word 2.52m. Everything
100% working. There was something else... I don’t remember now. There are branded Mm
of course. ;)

Uh-huh.

My FastEcho does not swear. I tested NAM at home. The packages made by Larka
work great.

No, I didn’t say this in order to fix bugs in it, because I don’t understand a damn thing about this program because I don’t use it...
Perhaps I can pass on a thread from advanced coders to someone. Write.
By the way, there is also EMS 2.55

How much does it weigh?
Where has the author gone? It seems like last time he complained about the lack of
an emulator for NT, but now there is such an emulator!?

I have never suffered from this. :) It’s just that if the software is worthwhile, I tinker with it,
and then the source code remains. I was interested in getting into ZX Word - I got in,
NAM is a useful thing, but the author gave up - I'm finishing it. That's all the fingers.
IK> and I'm looking for someone to give into good and smart hands...
As practice shows, many can only give advice. You should do it yourself - it would be beneficial. By the way, it’s easier for me to code a plug-in for ZX Word to create
.pkt than to understand other people’s sources. This Lara
Croft software is too big...

wah;) it was a thing, I don’t deny it. In terms of board development, in my opinion, there are no
movements; (the circuit has been with T(c)S/I8 since the fall, he seems to be doing something, in the sense he promised
to dissolve it. I still don’t like it by the way (see next message).

yes, with There are advances in the software, I finally restored the old source code from 2 years ago, ran demos on the ramdisk, best view and got tired of it;). I know a certain JTN, he writes for a demo here at the party ;) and seems to be planning to be there. By the way, will you be in Izhevsk yourself?

The problem is the lack of an off-topic and the unknown in terms of the format
of returned materials ;)

We should remember to turn on the attributes on the 512x192 screen (or are they already turned on?)
Then with a small circuit (the attribute is latched into the register during the reverse
travel of the beam) you can get colored lines.
