From Nikolay Maslennikov To All 12 April 1998

Great, All!

Dudes, when will someone write something similar to zED but only
so that it doesn’t slow down and has support for 512k(#7FFD) cloks
kempston mouse and something else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would take on this work myself, but I’m not afraid without outside support
I can handle it alone though...
I recently took a look at Gluk servis and scratched up my firmware
> ROM serv 0.1 from MAD
All options are right on the screen (In Gluk, nested menus are hard to navigate through and take a long time) Built-in MAX boot is the best fast commander-der, built-in text viewer of any text formats, and all this under the mouse (hot pumps) is cool, not like Mr. Gluck. I plan to support real time (K512VI1) in future versions, but on new ports more than glitch glitchy who are interested in my
idea about zED or ROM spit soap at me.

Hello, Nikolay!

12 Apr 98 Nikolay Maslennikov was mumbling in the hope that Everyone would read about the Scream
of the Soul! had support 512k(#7FFD)

Maybe by the year 2000 someone will write a thread ;)

I guarantee support from my side.

From Renat Mamedov To All 15 April 1998

I, too, sometimes get on the computer drunk, but I don’t write letters.
(and little ones too :))

NM> --- zED for zX'48 (48 is full of shit, and Pentagon 512 is
NM> rulez!)

You offend your parent :(

And before you yell what you did cooler - present it for
everyone to see. Your opinion is not important -
you are an interested party in this case.

Sincerely, Renat.

Night is shorter than day, but murder is not will be.

From Dmitry Pugachev To All 15 April 1998

AI> Roman hasn’t provided you with a new scheme yet? or are they buggy in the new AI?
Well, there’s no need to criticize FFFC, I invented it and Renat
put a clock on it and I installed a hardware megascreen.
If you need a megascreen circuit, I can throw it in.
And in general, it’s time to end this FFFC port, because everyone doesn’t like it.

Sincerely, Dmitry.

RM> I, too, sometimes get drunk on the computer, but I don’t write letters.
RM> (and little ones too :))

I remembered Slava Mednonogov’s letters on New Year’s Eve, where he ruled!
There’s a typo in every word and so on... :) But he doesn’t like anyone _gone_!

RM> And before you yell what you did cooler - present it for

That's it! No one has seen _anything_ yet! And it’s unlikely that anything would have happened...

I don't know how anyone has a glitch; it worked right away at 3'5, is it your NO DISK
issuing? Then your disk drive is a filthy 'mitsumi', probably or tick, it doesn't matter for me
Panasomik works great
but according to the voice of the people, first than to shove it into ROM, I eliminated more than that GLuk
there won’t be any problems.
RM> and it doesn’t even have half the capabilities of a PC.
Who needs them? I don’t need them, and viewing screens is the most remarkable of all
options will be implemented in my reader
all other options are slow even on the turbo z80, okay business taste;)

From Roman Milukov To All 19 April 1998

No. Yours is even cooler. But MAD's, in my opinion, is more convenient.
And he's waving ideas... It seems he didn't crack your firmware for research purposes.

[accidentally skipped. We are talking about "ZX'48 - shit")

Yeah. Maybe you can get into trouble. >:-E~~

Throw in a megascreen circuit. We'll see.

It's a matter of taste. But it’s still bad after such an abundance of functions
to receive something that is fast but poor in functions.

For everyone to like everything, these should be _different_ programs linked together under a convenient OS. And if you do it with just one program, you won’t please everyone, and
the volumes are large. Even a tosser needs to be done separately from the letter editor!
You never know what you want to do with letters before tossing... :).

On my offtopic I have linked a soaper-tosser-reader-faxserver-collector
statistics (routing paths, etc.) - a few more small features.
I configured what _I need_ from what _I_ like it. So, IMHO, very convenient. Linking is done using *.bat files, which is very convenient
since they are text files.

Yes, but it is necessary that the other one is launched from one and so that each can be launched
separately, and this, imho, is not as easy to implement as in....

19 Apr 98 Roman Milukov was pinching in the hope that Andrey Isaev would read about
Cry of the Soul!, I read it and decided to answer:

From Roman Milukov To All 22 April 1998

^^^^^^^^^^^^
Yeah, yeah... Tosser E. Milun does. There is also a tosser with a Z-Man reader (though only for 512*192 screen mode). And no one has an editor yet!
...A lot of things need to be done.
UUencoder-dekoder is needed.

We don’t yet have anything to configure from.
And what’s stopping you from doing this on Spec? One program can launch others, it can even remain resident in RAM on a particular page... True, it doesn’t look like a *.bat file. :)
IMHO everyone who uses FIDO from Speck has at least 256K RAM.

From Tim Kelly To All 24 April 1998

AI> Yes, but it is necessary that the other one be launched from one and so that each one can
AI> be launched separately, and this, imho, is not as easy to implement as on....

That is why we are talking about the OS.

From Roman Milukov To All 24 April 1998

AI> Well, at least throw it in, otherwise it’s cool, cool.
I didn’t say “cool.” I said "more convenient". And it’s easy to say “throw it in.” But a corrected version is already ready, newer than mine. One of these days he will throw it himself. And
if he can’t, he’ll give it to me on a floppy disk and I’ll upload it.

PS. We actually live in different cities with him. Even calling by phone -
"intercity" works, even though there is only one 4616.

From Roman Milukov To All 24 April 1998

AI> Is this possible?
Easily. The basis is ZED (conceived very intelligently). The tosser is done. Take any overlay from the package and make your own in return.

From Andrey Isaev To All 27 April 1998

RM> I didn't say "cool". I said "more convenient". And naschet
They said that it’s better than Gluck, and since Gluck is cool, it should be even
cooler ;)

this is very irrational, each overlay has its own printer, its own disk

Well, I’ll wait, maybe someone can do it rationally. In the meantime, I will use the irrational ZED... So “there is nothing cooler than ZED.” :)

Okay. Let's start with the basics. The axis, I think, will not appear soon. :( Let's wait. Maybe
Roman Petrov will give birth... In the meantime, you can do it like in ZED...

From Nikolay Maslennikov To All 2 May 1998

RM> While he doesn’t allow it, he said “wait, I’ll fake it...”
I catch all sorts of glitches so that later they won’t say that I praised her and she’s
buggy:)
As long as there are no glitches, well, in general, tonight I’ll throw Roma
for a test and if she doesn’t glitch, I’ll throw it in echo.

From Andrey Isaev To All 2 May 1998

RM> Okay. Let's start with the basics.
Yes, but it needs to be written to one person, and only then the whole world rush to write
overlays.

DD> No, the fact of the matter is that all overlays use one
DD> standard driver for disk, screen, etc. through entry points

This is done in Zed, and imho Roman suggests writing everything from scratch, and if we start
doing this, we will get exactly what I said, first one needs to
write the kernel, and then everyone else will start writing overlays tied to this
kernel.

I read it :) Apparently I misunderstood you, but if you are suggesting just
upgrading the zed then imho this is great stupidity.

From Denis Dmitriev To All 25 May 1998

AI> I read it :) apparently I didn’t understand you correctly, but if you

I support.
Upgrading ZED is undesirable, because everything inside is “crooked” enough to work normally with extensions.

Best regards, Denis.
