Correct operation of screens 1 and 2 on Scorpio

ZXNet echo conference «real.speccy»

From Andrey Eismont To All 24 August 2000

I am very happy about our meeting All!

Here is my question.
Scorpio users on yellow boards have probably encountered this
problem.
The fact is that on some programs, when entering the shadow box, a different
screen is installed, that is, not the one in which the shadow box was entered.:( And when exiting the shadow box, the previous screen is not installed and has to be in the monitor manually
set the desired screen, and then return to the program:(
This, for example, happens with the RDS 3.1 program. We go into the shadow box with
the 5th jar installed, and exit with the seventh one.
Also, when loading some programs from the broom, the screens switch alternately (we see this on the monitor screen) and it happens that when the program
loads, the second one is installed screen:(
Very unpleasant.
I read that on the Scorpio Turbo+ (green board), the manufacturers have
eliminated this problem.

So, can anyone tell me how to overcome this
trouble on the yellow board?

Nothing has been eliminated there. Port condition It seems like they installed it on AY, but
the shadow service doesn’t use it.

Change the ROM to one that doesn’t have shadow service.

I am very happy about our meeting Oleg!

And the reason for this was Saturday August 26, 2000, 13:17,

So they lied:(

AE> Why then did they write that they had eliminated it?

They eliminated it in hardware, but did not support it with software.
