ZXNet echo conference «real.speccy»
From Denis Dmitriev → To All 25 May 1998
Great, All!
Here, I’ve made the subject.
Catches the upper memory of Profey, Pentagonov and Scorpov and forms
a disk cache on it.
Damn, why can’t the call #3D13 be intercepted ;('''
I had to duplicate all the functions, but it seems so far it works.
The acceleration of work is observed to be small, 3-4 times, but with
512K of memory it is very convenient - after tossing during reading
it almost doesn’t reach the disk at all (ramdisk, however ;)
No one wants to test?
ps: in any case, I won’t throw it into the echo for now, until all
bugs I won’t spoil it :)
pps: the whole package has been plowed up in the subject, so if I send it, it will only be in the whole package (obviously, without the help).
ppps: please send a working yukalka/unzip! but I
got stuck :(
With the best, Denis.

It knows the upper memory of SCORPIO extended. up to 1MB ?
If not, then keep in mind that this is 6.7 bits of port #1ffd
