Every self-respecting spektrumist wants to have a Pentagon scan

ZXNet echo conference «real.speccy»

From Yuri Voynalovich To All 7 June 2000

Hi *All*!

I wonder, are there many owners of such a previously very widespread miracle as Leningrad-1, who still cannot
watch multicolors and their demos slow down/twitch/reset?

It’s just that I once wrote in ZX.SPECTRUM how I converted my Leninist into a full-fledged Pentagon, but I thought that not all local inhabitants read this echo...
If anyone else is interested, write.

Always yours Combin8or/PH7

Greetings, Yuri!

Somehow Wednesday June 7, 2000 at 13:30:46 I saw that
Yuri Voynalovich and All were talking on the topic Every self-respecting spektrumist wants

I saw that letter. I also did this myself in 98, when
I saw rotating colored sectors in RAGE, and then in the info
I read that they rotate on the border, and that letters
also run along the border.
I followed the same path, but in the RC-chain I installed a tuning resistor for more accurate setting of INT.
But for me I didn’t like the broken lines on the border. In Lenin, border values are written in clock cycles, just like attributes,
but in Pentagon the border is not clocked.
On TM2 and LA3 I switched the clockingKP13'x: when the border is active, then on the 11th leg of KP13 the frequency is 4-8 times higher. And it would also be possible to replace KP11, from which they come
RGB, with two KP12s (just like in the Pentagon). Then the switch is not needed.

Good luck.
Sergey.

Hi *Sergey*!

And it all started on 08-Jun-00 at 21:22:49, when Sergey Ignatov
talked with Yuri Voynalovich about Every self-respecting spektrumist wants

Well, this goes without saying at first, but then it’s still better to measure and
cut the usual one ;) Here, after all, it depends on the specific assembly - for some
everything for example, on 1533, in others you can find 133 ;)

SI> But I didn’t like the broken lines on the border.
Hehe, who liked them ;)

SI> In Lenin, border values are written
SI> by clock cycle, as well as attributes, and in The Pentagon border is not

SI> KP13'x: when the border is active, then on the 11th leg of KP13 the

I did it a little cumbersomely, but it was useful for
512x192 (I soldered it like IP35 and cut a bunch of tracks), so I
didn’t bother to improve the border sampling. Submit your option -
there are probably still people who are still suffering.

p.s. Dems at the Pentagon are crazy! I will never forget how happy I was
when I finally rebuilt the computer and watched all the demos,
for them it was like a second life, full and beautiful..
