Hello, Sergey!

SC> An unpleasant incident happened, on a screw in the subject
SC> system there was coursework in
SC> text form, and it so happened that I went through the disk
SC> with the Create and
SC> program I am now interested in the question, how can you get information
SC> out of the screw?
SC> Exhumer and fdir do not help.

FDIR does not help - was there a course book in the root directory?
Actually, it should be able to pull it out without any problems, if the file is not in the root
directory. I pulled it out myself so many times, and then began
to create copies of partitions.

SC> And I’m also interested in the 32-byte file descriptors and
SC> directory, describe
SC> byte by byte, what it (bytes) is responsible for.

File descriptor:

offset length description
0 8 File name
8 3 file extension
11 1 Status register file. bits (0/1):
0 - deleted/exists
2 - read-protected (1)
3 - write-protected (1)
4 - visible/hidden
5 - file/directory (main)
6 - segmented/continuous
7 - delete-protected (1)
12 2 Load address
14 3 Length
17 2 Number of the segment descriptor block (for a continuous
file - the number of the zero block of the file)
19 1Special
20 6 Reserve
26 2 File Checksum
28 2 Time
30 2 Date

Directory Descriptor:
0 8 Directory Name
8 3 Extension (gaps on older systems)
11 1 Directory CSR
12 2 Progenitor directory CDLSA
14 2 Size of the directory in bytes (*)
16 1 Nesting level (*)
17 2 Number of the segment descriptor block
19 2 Number of the 0th directory block
21 1 Total number of files including the directory itself and deleted
(*)
22 1 Number of files without a directory and deleted

* - not used in the external descriptor directory.

SC> There is an idea to create a text file on this disk and
SC> write in its
SC> descriptor the parameters of the killed file and in this way
SC> extract it.
SC> Who is doing what about this.

uh-uh

SC> Also looking for the tt+.key keyboard driver.

Kinu...
